Just wanted to show a something that might work, I'm surprised no one have mentioned yet, this is just an example to get my point across, it's way too dark and not really true to the original.
It's fairly easy but it will require some time to make it look good, more complex scenes with a lot of round objects is obviously gonna be a lot harder. Not overdoing it might be an issue, like i just did.
Also i don't expect the whole scene to worked be like this, only the parts that looks too blurry.

I just slapped a texture onto the ground and blended it with the background (overlay i think, and some "blend if") and then added some slight highlights where needed.

I was messing around with my new sonar 8 and took a stab at for "those who fight further"

i put all the lgp files u said to put in the folder,,, i put the lgp and unlgp files in,,,, and ran the patch.BAT and nothing happens?

I also had this problem, nothing changed in my game, do you have to run the patch.bat in command prompt?

1) copy 'gui' folder and all of its contents to C:/
2) run Patch.bat
3) ??????
4) Profit

I cant wait to see cross dresser cloud, what always bothered me about that event was how cloud so easily fooled Don Corneo into believeing he was a prettier-than-average female. This was easy to get away with back in the windows 98 era, but now... This is gonna get interesting

I like it. Actually, If I were you, i wouldn't spend a whole lot of time working on making the lightning bolt look 'realistic'.  Do you all remember what casting lightning looks like? It is hard to make out the actual detail in the lightning because it comes and goes so quickly, the part of the attack that really needs work is the round sprites that appear after the lightning disappears.

Not too bad. Next release will be ready when item images are done. Satoh said he would try to tackle that since and im inclined to let him since he produces some beautiful art. Right now im just experimenting with some other stuff. I need to get a save where i can goto the gold saucer so i can start working on some of that stuff.

I can make you any save you want with my save game editor, just tell me what you want in the save and Ill send it your way  :mrgreen:
