No one deserves that for wanting to speak, even if they are an "asshat".

Yeah he did.

He wasn't tasorred for wanting to speak, but for resisting arrest. He was asked to leave the stand because his question was inappropriate and was just seeking attention, he refused to the point where they had to drag him away, even then he still didnt cooperate. If he just did what he was asked then they would've just escorted him outside & he would've even been fined let alone tasorred.

I would have shot him in the nuts with the tasor.

This ones much better

You know, it has taken me a really long time to make up my mind on whether it is a parody or not, but I'm starting to believe that it is.

I take it that you don't read penny-arcade? They've been paying it out for a while now & doing there comics in a similar raving lunatic fanboy style... i don't think many people got it, so these two of their more recent ones were more direct.

The best thing I ever seen on ebay was the "International Can of Mystery" I think it went for about £42 .... bet that guy was pissed, turned out to be a tin of Cambells oxtail soup...

Somebody tried to sell their virginity on eBay once... it got so much attention it went on the news and everything. I cannot help but wonder if he went through with the sale, lol.

Just as a heads up, i just found out that this patcher has issues with winXp's latest updates. If you want to apply all patches at the same time you need to set the install.bat file to win95 compatibility mode otherwise it gets a error when applying the mgp patch.
Can anyone else confirm this info?
Myself the patch seem to work well, even with latest Windows XP updates installed...
"HighwayAndSnowboardMinigamesFix - Patching done"

I haven't tested in-game results, though.
The error only occurs if you are trying to apply more than 4 of the patches at once. I started getting the problem after updating windowsxp via the auto update, but it might also occur in earlier versions too.

I can apply the transparent and swirl patches, but the minigame patch "corrupts" the FF7.exe, so I can't apply it....curious if there is any suggestions
Try setting the .bat file to win95 compatibility mode.

What, you perverts? That is an accurate description of totally innocent events in the game, get your mind out of the gutter! :-(

:-D

lol, i always call them big robots in conversation... saying to someone that "those big daddies move hard & fast" in conversation doesn't give the greatest impression.

gameplay
- unlimited respawns sucks, you'd think in rapture it would at lease cost money.
- all rpgs elements from ss2 were dumbed down to appeal to the action gamer (im a thief fan, not a action gamer)
- to many enemies, too many enemies respawning
- to much ammo
- no weapon health system (gun jams/breaking & so on..)
- hack game waste to much time considering just how many things there is to hack, old ss2 hacking system was better, simple & quick
... and just many other stuff that bugs me

plot
- too predictable
- too similar to ss2 (replace shodan & execzis with ryan & fontain)
- totally uninteresting characters, ( except for the artist, that section was good. )
... & some other stuff that annoys me, when i played final fantasy 7 i kepted rushing through to reveal the story quicker because it was interesting, whereas in this i just couldn't care and just went about searching everywhere.

I hope somebody makes a ss2 mod for it.

I didn't find it to be anywhere near as good as system shock 2 gameplay wise... i was just impressed by the gfx, animation & so on.

Also the plot was terrible imo.

My video card didnt have 2.0 support either, so i got another one.

Works on 2 of my pc's, worked fine in every way... I copied it by accident, i meant to copy a different cd and accidentally selected to copy from the wrong drive :P

No need for a crack... people who copy a cd and then have to crack it don't know what their doing IMO. But thats enough of that talk, piracy talk is forbidden on these forums :P

Everything is modified from what i have seen.

As for the whole Bioshock thing you make a good point, and I reckon they deserved their hit at long last, even if their anti piracy protection is bs lol.
Its not piracy they are trying to stop (I managed to make a pirate my own copy just fine). Its reselling on ebay that they are trying to stop, hence the limited activations... originally it was only two installations till they caved in to pressure & made it five.

Btw Str adds to Attack in case you didn't know.
Thats why i said if it was intentional then to add it to the attack instead, because that way the player would be able to see its effect before equipping the item.

The four slots armor adds +18 strength, that shouldn't do that. The player isn't informed that it happens, i only figured it out by accident... if you want it to add to strength, make it add to attack instead. or remove it completely as the four slots is for mage's not fighters.

@spyrojyros_tail
I didnt mean to quote timothy leary, have never even heard of him.

As for your post, its too freaking big... as for mis-information, i was referring to the stuff already discussed with hades about part 1 of the film. Click the link that was already posted. But for some humor in reference to the other 2 parts of the film, theres always maddox's opinion on that ~ http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=911_morons

I am aware that conversations regarding issues such as this can quickly esculate into flame wars, please note that it is not my intention to provoke you in any way.

Same here. I was just trying to get people to not just believe facts given out in films outright... whether what they say is true or not i dont care, im just trying to encourage people to check out the validity of things they get told through films such as this before everyone start running around claiming one thing or another creating further division between the religious & non-religious.

Also I'm not sure what you meant in regards to buddism, and taoism. Would you care to elaborate? I am familiar with both religions after studying Tai Chi for a while and spending time with a number of Japanese friends.

The claim made by the film was that all religions really just worship the sun like pagans & are somehow part of a big plot to get us all to comply, and their given proof of this was the supposedly true similarities between all religions & equation of the crucification on the cross to something that happens with the stars. However the worship of a God is not part of all religions, and the crucification on a cross only applies to Judaism, Christianity & Islamic. They simply focused on a single event from the bible because Christianity is the dominant religion in America. I would've preferred if they went into more detail about other religions rather than focusing on western religions while ignoring eastern religions, thats all...

I've been an atheist for as long as I can remember now and I found part one almost liberating. I knew there had to be a rational explanation for the umpteen different religions sharing so many characteristics. Its not only that, but I feel better in myself for watching it. After all everyone has a reason to worship the sun, I can definitely get into that. Not sure about praying to it mind.. :P

That was the part of the film i found most interesting, but if you search around you'll find out that that part was just all pure bullshit, and if you cannot be bothered doing that and wanna save some time then check out this guys own research in response to these supposed similarities --> http://mitchblog.com/?p=6. Also that section was directed at Christianity completely neglecting other religions such as Buddhism, Zoroastrianism & Taoism... many of which do not even worship a God/Gods.
