{sarcasm} I downloaded a copy of final fantasy 7 with final fantasy 8 movies, and for some reason the final fantasy 7 chracters werent in the final fantasy 8 movies whilst playing the game.... I think I need a patch to fix this problem for my downloaded version of the game. Also, the game doest have any sound because as i previously stated its downloaded without sound. Also the opening mosive appears to be a pornographic scene involving well.... things.... I think we need a patch to fix this also. {sarcasm over} - Now onto the real issue!

Whilst I was in the train graveyard after the sector 1 reactor incident, a fight loaded, but instead of playing the regular fight music it played the first 2 seconds of it over and over again like a broken record player before crashing the game to desktop.
Didnt happen second time round though, but it did on a third. Its a rare bug but I found it - if anyones going to be unlucky enough to find it, then its me!

(edit) yes I have a proper version of the game, dont worry :P

I can add, that when playing my copy of FF7, game crashed twice when attempting to save right after entering the train graveyard (I saved on the third try when I didn't encounter any enemies)... Maybe it's some kind of bugged location? :P

Have you enabled windows98 compatability mode (assuming you use XP?) That tends to fix some problems.

I don`t think it`s a problem with Reunions patch (unless you get an error about "fail to load" or something related to char.lgp)
