Chocobo Racing fixed in Steam version
« on: 2016-07-07 17:40:42 »
Do people still experience overly fast chocobo racing (in modded/original version)? I know the steam version has corrected this, but has aali's driver or any other mod tried to do the same?

It's correct in Aali's driver because Steam uses Aali's driver.

No there is a random doubled speed bug. I have seen people on steam complaining about that and with Aali's latest driver I had also that issue. But I guess your fixed it with your new framelimiter correction.

My new limiter comes with a speed up option too.  You can speed up and slow down.  It's part of the Reunion, but I'll release it as a separate mod in time.

I remember, whenever I won in Chocobo Racing, the victory animation would be really fast.
Then again, it's been a while since I've been either A) far enough in the PSX version for it to be open to me (late Disc 2 and Disc 3) or B) early enough in the Steam version to have it happen at all, as my save files are all either on the 1st Continent or on the final screen you can save, with nothing left to do but grind and beat Ruby and Emerald Weapon.
