Emporer steele, borde, you are BOTH on the right track but this was proven wrong in the japanese version where after Aeris died she still has lines for her part, so that goes to my theory of there being a switch in the EXE or savefile that activates after she dies giving the crash.

I think he means he still has the buster sword but when you equid the ultima weapon the field model changes too....  It might be possible.. Just link it to the same code used for the battle swords?

1) no CD - CRACK

hmm.... How about a "background" program that reads the information and when fFVII calls a certain function after beating Safer Sephiroth so it takes the savegame and clears ALL progression flags exept fot the Items and Char STATS (meaning when you obtain a character later it still has the stats)

Is this possible?
