LoL that would be nice, I'll be glad to do the textures, as for the polys I think you can use the modded weapon for vincent as reference, other details are best handled with textures for ff7..

I think it'll be very easy for you since you've been doing weapons already.. you have experience and probably the stock datas and files of your previous works to help you..

yep.. guns of that quality will look cool with the new vincent I enhanced..

LoL but then again.. such high poly might be a waste for ff7 since some details will not be visible in-game, still that would be better than what we have for vincents other weapons.. anyway does ff7 has a limit in polycount?

Finally done textures on the cid head, Omega hint's he'll continue with the whole model.. I might also make textures for it, if everything goes well will have a new cid model. :)

Sure, I did the head already might as well do a complete texture. :)
I sent you the final head texture.. rendering in blender is not accurate it looks completely different ingame, so I removed the lights while rendering and include kimera screenshots on the image I sent.. check your pm :) :)

Yep, I agree  the lips needs a little tweaking.. though it's not really visible in-game, it's more obvious when you take a closer look on the model specially in side view,

Why do you need to assign two textures in one piece anyway??

If you just need to apply more detailed textures I guess you can do this thru setting the uv's .. :)

Hmm.. the actual ruby weapon, you mean the one made by the namespoofer guy right?
That bottom left part of the tex is not really that high quality an image, so you might as well replace it considering there's the possibility of it being ripped, maybe just fill that part with a black color then try adding filter effects, you can make an even better texture with that..

Yeah, I'd suggest dividing a game in "sectors" to be easier to make the job feel attainable.

F.e., divide it by cities and only move on to another one when the first one is completly remaked. Making a remake here and there will only demotivate as you'll come across "man, there's so much to do", and in the end you'll have a bunch of scenes, redone by different guys, that doesn't fit together. At least if you completly do a city, and decide to take a break (aka in modding, you wont ever touch that again aka dead project) your work wouldn't have been in vain.

If i were you i would concentrate ina small place, like redoing the inside of the shinra ship or the shinra sinked airplane.
They have few scenes, no one have touched them and i believe it would fit your style.

Isn't that what they're doing already on the the Bombing Mission Project? or am I wrong..

I'm assuming you're in kimera and opened the **aa file..

Try double clicking the head.. this will lead you to the  P editor screen.. edit the head then click apply changes then close the P editor.. it should work.

As for repositioning make sure you the part is selected when performing any action such as reposition/resize/rotate

Just seeing arguments left and right is rather unsightly, I'm just saying that matters like this should be settled between you, kuugen and the admin, no need to involve the rest of the forum. Is that so bad a request that you'll have to react that way? as for the lies thing, I would never know the truth in that, not that I care since this is your and kuugen's problem.

Yup.. well lighter one woudn't look bad if all parts will match in terms of shade, when you made the tex lighter, some of the parts remained dark, thus giving it a little messed up look..

I agree with nightmarish.. I think you should make the core standout a little, it's barely visible right now

yup, that woud be better I think.. and if you can fix the ears, I think they're to small maybe increase the size, just a tiny bit..

I agree.. while magchocobo's work is really awesome I don't think it'll fit with the other models.. so..
solution.. magchocobo should just make textures of that style for all main characters, LoL.. that'll be awesome..

well here's my progress again I'm at loss right now for the mouth should I make the mouth slightly open(grinning) like that pic nightmarish posted?

I'll blur the coat texture a bit.. I may have overdone it, as for the legs and boots, I still need to make them, the one your seeing right now is just temporary, the previous one was actually the legs and boot of apz cloud.. I decided not to use it to respect apz decision.. so I will be making a leg and boots model on my own.. this will serve as a practice and my first actual attempt in 3d modeling. this may take a while though..
