Oops...
I made a complete mistake.
That image is from when I started with FF7_Launcher.exe,
As soon as I started with FF.exe, I found out that it was garbled.

By the way, the game converter is
Does it match FF7_GameConverter_0.11?
I also tried FF7_GameConverter_7H, no change.

Also, do I need to change the world_us and menu_us?
Thank you for your time, EQ2Alyza.

This image is the client that appears when you open the FF7_Launcher.exe...

It's because there's no JP in the CD folder...?

I followed the instructions and confirmed that the English version remains in Japanese.
I've played as far as Guard Scorpion and had no problem with it!

I'm waiting for the next instruction. :D

The map image extracted by Palmer (0.8b) was edited and cleaned up,
but when I tried to save it,
it was only PNG data. Is there a good way to convert to the original file?

I can't use Reunion, Game Converter or 7th Heaven on the Japanese version.

Is it possible to add the ability to replace high quality map PNG data in Makou Reactor?
If this were possible, people would be happier more easily.

Do you have such a tool?
Or is there someone who can make one?

Hello, I'm Japanese.
In Japan, the Steam version of FF7 is unavailable for purchase.
It can only be purchased at SQUARE ENIX STORE.

However, since STORE's FF7 doesn't support OpenGL or Game Converter,
I'm having trouble using 7th Heaven in Japanese.

I'd like to beautify the background jaggies somehow.
Is it possible to replace a background texture directly in a folder?
