7th Heaven / Field Models- Main characters are the original characters

Like my title says, I have downloaded the ones from the catalog and put them into the active mods list in proper order according to the guide but in game the only one I have working is cloud in the field. I'm using windows 10 I'm using 7th Heaven 1.56 and the mods I'm using are based on the tutorial link here http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15520.0 Heres a screenshot https://imgur.com/bcuB6r3
P.s I've looked around and saw that there was  a way to maybe fix this and I went and manually selected load paths for the 4 locations, a question I have though is the textures folder supposed to be empty?
Nvm fixed it by overriding the direct_mode in config file, was Off even though i have direct in the 7th heaven interface under extra folders

I went by this one https://captrobau.blogspot.com/p/install-guide-ff7-mod-manager.html and I somehow ended up on this forum in its troubleshooting link. I got everything working now. But I'm not sure if I can take away the remako files and replace them with the ones in the guide you guys have on here.

I tried applying the compatibility to the exe for the resolution to be 640x480 and launch game and it asks me to insert disc one or two or 3 even though the disc 1 is mounted

Hi, I searched around the forum and google but because of my search words its not directing me to the problem i have. Step 10 asks me to open 7th heaven again and go to library and search remako, but theres no results. As I recall I dont remember seeing any files named 'remako'. any help would be greatly appreciated
