What about cheat engine ? Is it known what address controls which character is in slot 2 and 3 ? On battle as well as in menu ?

Yeah but as long as you don’t unlock Vincent, Sephiroth’s the same. You can get him in PHS too

But there’s something I don’t understand : dziugo made it so that it’s normally capped at 30000, but we can change it to whatever we want ! For example, for damages, we can go up to 262144, then it does the overflow glitch.

The only thing is it shows messed up numbers. So since the damage can indeed be applied, can’t we just make them show what they are actually doing ? So that if you deal 45718 damage, you see 45718 and not mis91;”1 or something weird like that ?

So I know the latest message in this topic is 4 years old, but the topic itself is 12 years old so since my question is related to it, I thought I could ask it here anyway, I hope I’m not wrong.

So basically, since we never get to deal negative damage (since the game handles healing with a flag) and since we never get to have negative HP/MP either, I was wondering why we were capped at 32767 HP/MP/Damage with dziugo’s 9999 Limit Breaking mod, and not 65535 ?

Hi, since forever, I’ve wanted to be able to play as Cloud and Sephiroth and nobody else in battles throughout the whole game. I’d like it to be that way in the menu as well if possible.

But making it that way all the time will stuck the game or even crash it at the first field event happening.

So how can I get Cloud and genuine Sephiroth in every battles in the game (whether Cloud should be here or not), and have them visible in the menu too ? (Which implies being able to change their materias, equipment etc) ?

But have the ordinary party elsewhere so there's no field crash/issues ?

Hello, I’d like the formula for Vincent’s Ultima weapon to be changed.

The original formula is :

[((Enemies killed by Vincent)/128)+10]/16

Well I would like the damage gain to be 8 times faster, so that the increase is actually visible if I were to play the game from beginning to end.

So basically I want the formula to become :

[((Enemies killed by Vincent)/16)+10]/16

But I’d like that formula to be changed for any weapon that would use that formula (modded with WallMarket)

And couldn't we just remove the sequences where the characters come out of cloud ? You know ? A way to make the game not load the actions where the characters talk or something ?

I use a Harcore mod, by gjoerlv (or something) and it includes controllable sephiroth with custom animations in battle.

All I wanna do is have real Sephiroth in my team but without having the crashes on fields (when you're supposed to have cloud, barret and tifa for example, have them talk without one of them will crash the game.)

No I mean, if I don't replace anyone, if I just put the real Sephiroth in my team.

And how could I use the original sephiroth without having a crash whenever they start talking on fields ?

Hello everyone, I've been looking everywhere, but it's always Cloud who's being replaced.

And I'd love to play the game using Cloud and Sephiroth at the same time.

Edit: I just need Barret "Battle" parts to be changed to Sephiroth, I don't care about the fields, nor the limitbreaks. (I guess I'd need a "LimitBreak gauge always 0" code though. Someone told me it was easy and quick to do, but he only hacks the PSP version so he couldn't help me with the PC version. He said something about "take the file named sefiros.LZS located into the enemy16 folder, extract it, then insert it inside BARRET.LZS slot"

But I have no idea how to do that, can someone help ?

Hey, I was wondering if there was a way to combine some materias. Like make "Absorption HP/MP" or something like that ?

And also, is it possible to make accessories to give the character several statuses ? For example make the protector ring give the Barriers and also Haste and Poison ?

And if I open it directly, I get "windows doesn't know this extension blabla"

It's funny how this game has been hacked for years and years, and yet there's so much stuff unknown ^^
