hi sorry for doing this again but i really want an answer

is there any way to extract a texture from a battle model

Isn't battle models just plain colours? Like only R G B info is stored?

FF8:
Open battle.fs, and run TIMviewer scan on the model file you like to extract.

For FF7 you can use image2tex or iros textool https://mega.co.nz/#!IRIRjJaL!SueuJCQNn6n-X-GZ2ucq8R-NWzo67wJC2s4sG-qX0IA

but that's only for field i wanna know if there is a way to directly extract texture from battle

the reason why i want this is to use Mike's Death penalty for my Vincent mod i know how to get the model out but not the textures :p

Add a .tex to the biggest file(s).
