7th Heaven / New Windows 10 Update Breaks Mods?

After hearing news that Type-0 HD no longer works I decided to try some other games on the latest April Windows 10 patch. It seem the seventh heaven mod isn't working. I have everything pointed in the right direction but everything is broken such as mods activated that don't work.

Can someone please confirm this?

7th Heaven / Major Slowdown using FF7_BC.exe

Trying to use the Because and Menu Overhaul mod but for some reason there's major slowdown when walking around areas with backgrounds. Works fine when in the world map. I tried disabling all mods but it's still slow.

This only happens when using FF7_BC and FF7_MO but not the regular FF7.exe. Any idea how to fix this?

7th Heaven / The Reunion Because and Menu Overhaul Issues

I've so far been enjoying the new seventh heaven mod except for one issue: the menu overhaul is busted. I can't seem to get it working as the text always appears smudged. I also wanted to get the old classic FFX battle menu but can't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
