Go!Zilla - useful?

Okay, I'm really *@&*$~?§*$ ... The story:

Yesterday, I started a 28.6 MB d/l on my 56K via Go!Zilla... After 2 hours, when I've already loaded 50%, the connection got damn slow... so I decided to resume the download today. But what the heck happened? M*therf**kin' Go!Zilla didn't save the file !!! WHAA !!   Why? Why? Why does this sh!t happens to me? Whaa!

But okay, I started the d/l  once again today, I got 3.3 Megs right now... just hope that my comp doesn't crash within the next 3 hours...

Anyone else had such problems with Download Managers? Or probably know anything better than Go!Zilla. I would like to change my manager, b'cause V4.0 of Go!Zilla looks bad and has a bad handling...

I use Download Accellerator Plus, which generally has a sustained much faster download rate and saves all the files, also I never liked gozilla anyay.

Actually, it really depends on the sites sometimes, some sites don't support resuming and there's nothing your d/l manager can do about it.
I personally use 2 d/l managers.
Getright & Flashget(Jetcar)

I use Getright at home(56k)
I use Flashget  in college(2Mbps line)

The only reason I use Flashget is to make multiple connections to a server that limits the d/l bandwidth per connection
The highest I've managed to a achieve is 250KB's/s

Im using GetRight. It works fine, you can pause downloading anytime. But sometimes when I schedule some files to download at night, they just wont go, they stop at 5-30%. I have to dl them manually in the morning.

I use Getright, it's not the perfect program but it works for me.

Download Accelerator and Getright... okay, I'll have a look at my PC-Welt CDs if I can find it on them so I don't need to d/l it

Urgh, I hate Go!Zilla! It was my first d/l manager and it sucked. Maybe the newer versions are better, but from what I've heard, they aren't. After that I tried GetRight, but the current release would bugger up IE and stop you from being able to view images. So now I'm on DAP, I've had no problems with it so far.
