Does 7th Heaven use the Steam version of FF7?

This is probably a stupid question but does 7th Heaven use the Steam version of FF7 because when I launch FF7 in 7th Heaven the Square Enix logo is different from the Steam versions and there are some differences ingame aswell.

The Game Converter used in STEP 1 will do all the necessary changes to make your game folder's file structure identical to the original 1998 release. This has to be done to run many of the mods on this site. It doesn't really alter many of the Steam files, but it will disable its features like ingame overlay, cloud saves, and achievements. The rest of the changes you see in game are from mods you have activated.
