Hi guys! Sorry I have been very busy last month: Christmas, holidays, I bought a house and I set my wedding date...all at the same time xDDD. But I´m back with new energies and ready to finish Kalm. Here you have Elmin1_1:

Again, sorry for the long time without news. Thanks guys!!

As  the time of rendering and load of work on my computer is too much, I´m using a rendering farm service to have the renders in less time. As obvious, they are charging me some money for the service and unfortunately I can´t afford that alone. If you can contribute to the project any donation will be appreciate. Thanks for your support!

You're doing an amazing job here, pal! I really liked some of the details you put into the last scene such as the "materia table" and such (such as your signature too)!

This is great, now we need someone to make npc and character models that will match the fidelity of these scenes.

jusete,

first of all, congratulations on acquiring a new house to live in and for becoming soon "one of us" married people! I wish you the best of luck!

Said that, wow.... More wonderful creations that are really giving us all hope that one day we will play the game with update graphics that are both new and at the same time quite faithful to the original art! We couldn't really ask for more.

Square Enix should have hired Dan (Reunion), UpRisen, Kaldarasha, you, jmp434 and a few others for the visual upgrade and a few more (including Tsunamods for professional Voice Over coordination) to just revamp the game. With your pooled talent we would have improved a game that only needed that very kind of improvements you are sharing with the community for free.

Thanks a lot!

These really look great! I was curious if you guys could do a tutorial for modeling these. You guys knock these out so quickly, I'm curious what tools you're using and how they compare to mine. I'm specializing in Environment Art, particularly in Procedural modeling, so I'm curious what your process is, and how these scenes compare to one made for Unreal (you're using Sketchup right?). Currently I blockout scenes in UE4 with BSP's, and model based on the blockouts in either Maya or Houdini, generally everything is modular. If someone can put together a run down of a completed scene explaining how things were done I'd definitely check it out.

Hello

Just to say that I'm not dead ! I'm actually busy and a little tired so it's difficult for me to slice all the new backgrounds (they are amazing !).
I'm still working on Faulked's reactor screens, because I must remake the animation of the bridge explosion. I hope finishing it this week.

Take your time friend. We all are busy at the moment and there is no rush as we are only two people doing this. I appreciate your work slicing my backgrounds, thanks mate.

Finally some news !

md0 :

By Faulked. This map is not really new, but I thought the original lacked textures, so I worked on it and sliced it.

md_e1 :

same background, with the Meteor. big difficulties because Ali's driver does not handle the light effect when the rocket hits the meteor. Instead of being progressive, the effect is abrupt. After a lot of different settings, I had to realize that I would not have better.

southmk1 :

By Faulked.

southmk2 :

By Faulked too. Two months of work on this one, because I had a lot of bugs (there are still some, but related to Ali's driver so it's impossible to rectify without completely redoing the modeling) and especially it was necessary that I recreate the animation of the explosion of the bridge, here is the rendering in game :

Good night
