md1_1 finished!!!

It´s going to take a while to start the next one as I´m really busy with the las preparations for the big day and with work. I´ll probably come back on Decembre or maybe January so that will give some time to Shampignon to finish the backgrounds xD.
Thanks guys!

As  the time of rendering and load of work on my computer is too much, I started to use a rendering farm service to have the renders in less time. As obvious, they are charging me some money for the service and unfortunately I can´t afford that so I´ve opened an account to top-up the service when needed. If you can contribute to the project any donation will be appreciate. Thanks for your support!

:-o :-o can't wait to try this in game. Awsome really.

I mean if you have the fields in aalis driver mod folder and you have another field model  activated in 7th heaven. I suppose it will load the 7th heaven one... :-)
As we just figured out via you and TrueOdin on the Discord, 7H always wins.  If we want to have your fields take top priority, then fall back to something else (e.g. satsuki's upscales), we'll need to package yours as an IRO and load it ahead of any others.

Thats the plan but time is my worst enemy, buddy. I´ll try to do it before new year as I´ll get some time off from work but no promises :P

Actually, I just did it (package an IRO, that is) to see if I could get yours and Satsuki's to play nicely together, and it's a beautiful success.  Only thing missing is md1_1 (which I couldn't find a dl link for).  It's currently 794MB, but I'll leave it to you as to whether or not I upload it anywhere... it's your stuff to distribute.

Or just unpack Satsuki's Iro file and merge all with Final Fantasy VII HD Field Scenes Database pack into "D:\Games\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\mods\Textures\field" (or into whatever path you have installed the game). Btw md1_1 in not released yet i think.

Done, uploading now. I´ll update the main page with the link when ready.
md1_1 is not imported yet. Shampignon is importing the backgrounds but he is busy as well so idk when will be released.

Well, like I said, I've already created a "Project Edge" IRO that's completely independent of satsuki or any other pack.  The biggest trouble with your suggestion is that it locks the user in, but there are some out there who (for whatever reason) prefer Remako, and maybe some who even like some of the earlier projects.  By using load order, a preferred/fallback position is created :)

bravo jusete I really hope that you will finish this project, even if it takes several years, that you be alone or that other people join you. square enix do the remakes of ff7 and I'm sure it's going to be very good games, but it will never be the original^^. the original has the right to a high-end remastering and that's what you do thank you.  :)
