FF8 Crashes to Desktop When Rinoa Meets Sorceress

Hi, I'm having a problem with Final Fantasy 8 on Disc 1, when Rinoa is trying to give the Sorceress a bangle (in Deling City), after the FMV sequence the game crashes to the desktop, I've tried it without the patch and with 3 different patches and the same thing still happens

I've tried these 3 patches:

FF8SqeaPatch.zip
FF8SqeaNVPatch.zip
ff8sqeapatch2.zip


Details about my computer:

Intel Pentium III Proccesser at 650MHz
192MB of RAM
Sound Blaster Live! Sound Card
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB Graphics Card
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP1

It may be that the movie is corrupt.  Try going to FF8Config, and switching the movie resolution to Low on the Graphics tab (just to bypass this part).
