Author Topic: [SOLVED] 7th Heaven Field Models - Main Characters not working  (Read 12994 times)

The Dynamic Cloud mod works fine and changes the character correctly. Looks great but the rest of the characters look very silly in vanilla next to him. I even tried disabling the Dynamic Cloud mod to resolve a possible conflict; leaving on the Field Models - Main Characters on. All that did was make Cloud go vanilla.

Still can't figure it out. I think I'll try another mod for character replacements. I'm quite fond of the PRP models.

Look on the Steam guide section. There you can download a version of ChaOS for steam.

Try opening the config file and checking for direct mode = on.

Thanks for your replies! Both of you. Definitely not a noob to mobs/modding (Hundreds of hours modding Skyrim). Just an noob to doing it on this particular game. I actually just got off work and did a fresh install of FFVII. I'm going to try those shortly suggestions shortly though. Just need to get everything back in place.

Putting "direct" in the extra folders definitely solved it. Definitely missed that in the initial setup. Everything looks excellent. Will definitely satisfy me while awaiting the remake. Excellent work! You're all very appreciated.  :)

I am having the exact same problem. I have music and direct pasted to the extra folders. Where is teh config file located??? I cant find it anywhere

That indeed did fix my problem and as a bonus it has made other mods work I had no idea werent working before. My Final Fantasy 7 looks all HD and great now thanks!

Sorry if I cause problems replying to an older thread, but I am having a similar issue, the Cloud model looks amazing, but everyone else around him is a poky blocky little thing (vanilla). I tried the suggestion to make sure that direct_mode is set to on, and it already was. I also saw some conversation about putting direct in some folder, but did not understand what that was referring to. What can I do to get it to work?

The settings in the 7H client has an area for extra folders. Type in direct there.

i might be stupid but i cant find file named ff7_opengl.cfg at all.
