Hello, I am Rinoa, just recently I have devoted the bulk of my time to modding the game Final Fantasy VIII. This is my first Mod, an avatar mod.
I hope you enjoy it.

Mod made by: Alkor, Rinoa, and Seifer Almasy.

Hmmm... I think I prefer the 2D ones over the 3D. :-)

Nice work you’ve done there, I’ve never tried to change anything in ff8 but I wanted to change the in game Squall with a Dissidia one for some time now. So if you know of a way to input and output 3d models to ff8 perhaps I could give it a try.

Nice to see that you man aged to get some FF8 mods working; I look forwards to seeing what will get done next.  :wink:

FF8AC is like LGP tools... just for FF8 and not FF7..

Well I have been making 1 or 2 of these for Rinoa and I must say I am enjoying this mod.  I am sure some of you feel the angelo I made froma  real dog is too realistic, but if you look at it once it has been downsized and placed into the game...i think it goes ok?

I would also like to point out..
all the dogs in the pet magazines are pics of real doggies
xD...
so it fits in with the  pet aspect
:P

Next I am going to try and replace the Kiros and Ward Avatars.. using images taken from this Picture... (the only one we could find with CG Kiros and Ward)

When I first saw this I was concerned (3d-like pics in a "2D" game?)

But after playing with it, it makes totally sense. Thanks for your work, looks great!


Can I ask you how did you mod FF8 TEX files?

I used a program called Omega..
it converts all the Tex. files into BMP..
then i did all my work in photoshop and paint.
then i use omega again to convert the BMP. images into a .tex file..
:D...
