Hello Sega Chief,

I used your program to change the Materia's effects, but it doesn't match in game.
I opened a FF7.exe (french version, I don't know if it can have an impact), made my changes and clicked on the "patch" option. When I re-open my FF7.exe, my changes are still there, but I can't see these in Wall Market, and in the game, it's the default effects which are displayed.

Do you know what I done wrong ?

Ah ah thank you !

But I must admit that it is not my creation. Jusete has already taken up this concept for the cigarette packs that are on the ground in some of its screens ! and if you type "ff7 malboro" on google images, you will see others in the same style ^^

I love the idea so i took it over !

If you have the problem during your modeling, I can't help you ... I only work on the finished images and cut them into layers. I don't know nothing about Blender and other programs. Contact Jusete, he will help you more than me.

But you can try without Alpha, it should be better.

Hello,

I think the white highlights around layers is because you use edge smoothing when making your cut. For example, in Photoshop, when you use the polygonal lasso, you must uncheck the "smoothing" option. The game doesn't process transparent edges and therefore displays them in white. You must have only 100% full pixel.

Very complicated to. As nmkin_2, I had to remove two pillars on the structure at the top of the ladder because it was impossible to make the characters pass behind, and to make the bottom of the map more darker because I had empty areas (that stand out in black in game) when i created transparency with gateways. A lamp was added near the exit door because there was a light effect coming out of nowhere.

I had to make the top of the scene more blue because there was too much difference (more yellow) with what we saw in the previous screen.

Do you know if you can widen this walkway? If you use non-chibi models (since the people playing this mod are likely going to be doing so anyway), then it looks like Cloud is floating in the air.


I think it's the same with the original map...

I'm very busy too, but the slicing of the reactors is about to be finished. I'm still working on nmkin_2 that is a very balls-breaker map !! The others are apparently good, just a few tests in game and I'll able to share them.

Just to say that I'm not dead ^^ and that I began the layering of the nmkin's.

Just one thing Jusete : in the nmkin_4 and smkin_4 fields, the Mako should be flat. You made some waves, but in the game there is no animation for the Mako, so the waves are still... It looks strange... What do you think ?

To import them in game, I'll need several animations layers : for the doors, the hanging handles... Check all the layers with Palmer, you'll have a lot of work XD ! But in the end, it will snap !
