[SOLVED] Check Subscriptions doesn't do anything
« on: 2015-12-25 03:47:42 »
I had another issue, but I was able to get that resolved. Now I am on the 5th step in the tutorial and the Check Subscriptions now link doesn't do anything. Going to the Catalog tab and clicking on search doesn't bring anything up either.

Post a screenshot of your Settings window.

Here you go:

Also, another question about how the program downloads and installs mods. Do the downloaded mods get placed on the OS drive (App Data) before being installed? I have limited space on that drive. My game is installed on another HDD.

Have you closed and reopened 7H since you clicked Check subscriptions now?

The mods are downloaded (temp folder) and installed in the Library location.

Yes, I have closed and reopened the program several times. I'll try restarting windows next.

Edit:

Restarting did nothing.

I tried resetting the settings by clearing the appdata folder and said no to the popup about subscription links with windows. the second window to popup when first starting 7th Heaven. Probably should add that into the tutorial. It's working now. Now to figure out how I am going to install the mods without overloading my OS drive.

Thanks for the help.

Create a folder on another drive and point the Library location to that folder. Name them whatever you want, just be sure the path is typed correctly in 7H. It's as simple as that, but I automated it with the Game Converter to skip the small things.

No worries here. The downloads seem to be going to the same drive as the game, so I am good on space. I am loving that Red 13 Werewolf mod, going to be using that for sure!
