Geez, I never realized he looked that small in battle. Vincent is tall.

Okay, Cloud is 5'7". Vincent is 6'. Barret is 6'4". Vincent looks about the right height compared to Cloud, but Barret looks like he's 5'7" as well. Maybe you can make Barret bigger in battle to more reflect his actual height. Characters' age and height and blood type are normally trivia and don't affect the game, but in this case, we can actually make use of the height fact.

Barret model is in game people!

This Model is by timu sumisu, and the texture is by Millenia

His gatling gun needs a little editing and it is also making him melee attack, rather than shoot, lol

Edit: He now shoots his long range weapons, but the animation starts with him trying to melee attack, lol

There's still something about his face that doesn't quite say "Barret", but the texture and model are 2nd to none!

Concerning his melee attack, that can be changed in WallMarket, just untick "punch" and tick "shoot"  That should fix you right up :)

It's not a Wallmarket issue, the weapons are set as the element 'Shoot' and the 'short range' box is unticked. I have improved the issue, he now runs forward like the start animation of a melee attack and then changes to the shooting animation, it looks okay and will do for now...

Doesn't he always step forward some before shooting??  I could be wrong

Yes he does step forward, but this is a run, its like he is equipped with a weapon like the cannonball, but just before he hits the enemy he changes to a shoot animation, shoots and then jumps back

You haven't previously installed the Advent Children mod have you?  I can't imagine this Barret model defaulting to those animations on it's own...

What you're describing sounds like something COMPLETELY new.  I don't think I've ever seen an animation like that

Yeah the animation he is describing was the animation baret preformed when he attacked... in the Advent Children Beta Mod.

It was released for 2 days or so before the link was removed.  So if you don't lurk these forums everyday, you would've missed it.  He also edited Barret to always perform the "punch", so it wasn't an unfortunate glitch.  My guess is he found the animation for shoot and replaced it with the punch one.
