Countrys are lies for the masses, all the world is ruled by 5 people and im one of them.

Thanks, i found the solution...

- In-game, press F2, config window appears
- In "Others" tab uncheck "Texture Correction"
- If problem remains uncheck also "Texture Completion" and "Voodoo2", but for me was gone only with step 2 done.

Too bad the problem pop again when trying to use antialiasing of NVIDIA panel, anyway, is better than playing in the lowest resolution and 16 bits!

Thanks all for the help.

That changed the resolution but the image remains broken, thanks anyway.

@Covarr of the Year

@Masa-Buster

Hello, im trying to play resident evil 3 on my pc but i get this shattered image when using a high resolution. They go away when using the minimum resolution and 16 bits. I recall someone with this problem on the forums but with a final fantasy game, perhaps the solution is the same?

This is how it looks...

Is there a way to play high resolution without this lines?

I noticed that it also happens when trying to use antialiasing in the nvidia control panel, this makes it look bad even with the lowest resolution.

I use winxp sp2.

Thanks for any help

Also if you want a more oldschool cloud battle model faithful to the original you can get "High Resolution Cloud" on the wiki http://wiki.qhimm.com/FF7/Technical/Customising

34
Ive never read a complain about models to dark with the current version. I dont know if its the light, detail or colouring but you may see it on your comparison of barret, even with the great improvement of shape, the other still looks somehow more real, all because of this details. I even think this is why some did not like the new Cloud, even though it was a great improvement of the shape, this details gave the old version a more realistic and cool feeling when ingame

35
Shape looks great, but please dont tell you are getting rid of the texture detail of the previous ver.? they will be added later right?

36
Hello, are you planning to add the skin coloration that the previous model had? That made it look a lot more realistic and now with the good shape your cooking it may look even better

Download This

Then Download This

Then Re-download This

Put the new patch.bat, and the new LGP and UNLGP into the GUI folder then put your LGP files into GUI folder and run the patch

p.s. Just a though, we should ask Aali's permission to include his LGP Tool in the download....

Thanks, i had excatly the same downloads up there, even the new batch you gave last time. Anyway i downloaded all again and still givin same exactly size lgp's  :-(

I think its a big step forward of the shape, and for the colouring and detail BrokenCrowe refers, I think that would be introduced later on?

40
hello developers, do you still think new version would be done by the end of the month?

thanks and saluts

41
the new models are very good, I like that you are faithfull to the original cloud design/drawing

well ff7_opengl-0.6.10b can correct the background blocks by setting "linear_filter = true" in ff7_opengl.cfg, but may loose some detail

43
make a copy of 00.LGP from this project and rename it char.lgp

hello, ok 00.LGP stands for the char.lgp but what does 01.lgp stand for?
thanks

It seems that the old patch resized the battle box so it went to thin borders but this also introduced many bugs and problems so is better to just resize 3d objects like the new patch is doing?

I'm looking for a way to import higher res text anyway so this shouldn't be a problem much longer.

Are you saying your developing a way of doing this ?

Um.... so your battle boxes are slightly larger than you want, does it matter???

If im asking then obviously matters to me, and thats not the point either. The question is: Is there a way of making battle box (or even Menu) also have 1280x1024 resolution like the one in that picture?

The thin menu borders is an artifact (more of a glitch than a feature) of the high-res patch. But you probably don't want to install that just to get that effect, since it will cause other issues.

I see, so it is a glitch of the high-res patch. Never could fully try it cause always crashed in my pc

You may need to turn on or increase the anti-aliasing on your graphics card.   That could fix the background

This had no effect in mine, does it in yours? and if so what card do you have?

Thanks all for the fast reply
