Title: Hi - I'm new and keen to help :)
Post by: Otori on 2010-07-12 10:31:58
Hi Guys,
Long time fan of FFVII and in anticipation of FFXIV I loaded it on my pc (again) to play and stumbled across this place while getting it to work on win7.  Wow - you guys have done an awesome job, let me say I'm overwhelmed with the idea that you can mod it in such a way!!!

I'd love to help in any way I can - I'm fairly crafty with Blender and not too bad at texturing.  I've lost a lot of stuff I had stored (never think to back up the backup......) but here's some things I have done.

Sword for Oblivion (pc game)

well welcome to qhimm, i'm sure your work will be much appreciated around here ^^
I myself however, am not too good with blender/3dsmax, but am trying to learn.

Team Avalanche could probably use your skills on modeling/texturing.
If i were you i'd pick a random mob from the game and try to remodel it :)

If you're good at modeling, you might be helpful to the bombing mission project (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=9688.0). There are quite a few unclaimed models; one enemy, a few field models and some backgrounds.
