The Game Converter used from STEP 1 will extract it into the shaders folder.

ahh..  was using an old GC (ver 0.10) thats why i have an old aalis driver

Tried to start over again by doing a clean install..But now when i run ff7_gameconverter_7h or ff7_gameconverter_0.11 it both gave me an error message INCOMPATIBLE.. only ff7_gameconverter_0.10 lets me convert the game....

Can i just install over it the new aalis drivers?? Do i need to configure more..

I've just downloaded MISCELLANEOUS - Red Werewolf and this is what i get after click SETTINGS...



I beieve it gave me the GAMEPLAY - Difficulty and Story mod instead

No im just using my regular desktop monitor and im already at max resolution..

Manage to blindly paste in subscription textbox  (can see the edge of it)  and i have my catalog list working but i dont know how to get to extra folders.. If its really important.. i guess  i must find a way to unlock the window borders...


BTW.. downloaded and made some mods working.. and i cant believe what im seeing.. 4 thumbs up to you and all the modders here at qhimm.. 

***EDIT*** Where do i get this SmartBloomAdvanced.post ..its not on my shaders folder..

Why am i getting this weird dialog when i click WORKSHOP > SETTINGS...




I cant see where i can change the SUBSCRIPTION setting.. hhmmm... pls help

Troubleshooting / 1st time MODDER.. HELP PLS!!!

Supp qhimm.. with the recent announcement of ff7 remake.. my love for this game was revitalized.. I thought playing this pc version plus the astounding game enhancement of  mods on this forum will be the best i can do while i wait for it.

THe first thing I do when modding a game is to test it with the most basic mods first. Now im having rouble and im not sure if im doing it right..

These is the steps i've done..

* Downloaded the aali's driver .zip file
* extracted the .zip file and copy&paste its content  to the installation folder of ff7 (e.g. c:\program files (x86)\Finatal Fantasy VII\))
* Run the .reg file (ff7_opengl.reg)
* Edited the ff7_opengl.cfg file and change the mod path to textures
* downloaded an avatar mod and put it to mods\textures\menu
* started the game & nothing changed..

What am I doing wrong?? pls! anyone can help??

What are you talking about ?? Why would a folder name be obsolete ? And i am asking how can i be sure if i installed aalis driver correctly and if its working properly.. Why would i post on another thread

How do I know that aali's driver is working properly ??
