There are damaged files in the world_us.lgp and battle.lgp of the Remix.
In the Bootleg tutorial, I detail how to repair the damaged battle models.
There are 179 damaged textures in the Remix world_us.lgp.
The best bet is to either use a mod that replaces the world texures or to copy them from a vanilla world_us.lgp.

You can remove all the Remix Remastered changes to AI, stats and equipment if you copy the vanilla kernel.bin, kernel2.bin and scene.bin files back over the Remix installation.

Has anyone figured out how to get these broken Squallff8 Rebuilded models working:
    Man11 - Normal(TEMP)
    Mr Coates - Normal (fved)
Old Man 4 - Normal (edjd)
    Punk 2(TEMP)
    Punk 3(TEMP)
    Punk 4(TEMP)
Sumo 1 - Top Half (giha)
Sumo 2 - Top Half (gjab)
    Wrestler 3 (TEMP)

-PitBrat

I'm working on new models right now
And these models already fixed.

Squallff8, you're awesome!
I can't wait to see your latest work in action.
-PitBrat

EDIT:The Remix textures from world_us.lgp aren't damaged at all.  They have a filename embedded in the header.  They point to replacements in the .\textures\ folder.  If you just copy the LGP files from the Remix, also copy the 'textures' folder.  Alternatively, copy the PNGs out of the 'textures' folder and into the appropriate 'mods' folder.

Be careful when ripping the PRP models from the Remix.

EDIT:WOW, I finally figured out how to fix most of the broken models in Squallff8's Rebuilded pack!
This fix works for the models with the missing eye and mouth textures.
First, open the .HRC file in notepad
Locate the section labeled:
    head
    chest
The fourth line in this section is the name of an .RSD file
Use Notepad to open the .RSD file specified in the 'head/chest' section
Add this text as the first line of the .RSD file:
    @RSD940102
Save and replace the .RSD file
Now the model will have eyes and a mouth!

Is Aali's driver absolutely imperative to use this?

i would guess it's not technically a requirement assuming you can get the game to actually run without the aali driver

but it's just a guess

and im wondering why you wouldnt want to use aalis driver?

Computer req's :( The only reso I can run it is 320x240, and it just looks terrible and blocky (The game, not prp). Tried downloading DK's Menu Overhaul to see if it looked any good but it didn't quite work right.

Squallff8,
Can you just erase the polygons for Tifa and the Driver?
Then you could add the parts for two new models.
If you make the new models just slightly larger, they'd cover up any remaining pieces of Tifa and the Driver.

I figured out how to fix those broken Rebuilded models.

I guess I'll upload an obj file of this. We could then delete the chars in it, or even upgrade it. What do you guys think of it?

Its not so easy. I can delete Tifa's & Driver's polygons, but i can't add whole new model of Tifa 'cause it consists  of parts.

I think that's what we need!
I already made Tifa model in dress and driver is not a problem.

Man, do you really need it? I already posted here that these models were fixed and tested by StickySock.  Just wait a bit longer and you'll get all models.

Fine. Wait about 5 minutes and I'll upload it meanwhile. But, with or without textures? Rather need a .blend file with textures applied?

Edit : You can select some bones. Why should it be a problem?

Or you meant something else?

Hmm, well, you just have to "replace" parts (and I'm not really used, I only worked with battle models).

The album is public now.

I click to install the mod & it starts up then immediately says "Aali's custom driver is not installed, or not installed correctly"
but I have his updated opengl.0.7.11b up & running the game awsomely! I even reinstalled it and the message is persistent :(

I plan to create 1 proper installer for all these models with help of Pitbrat, including any fixes and updated ones. While we are at it, this project needs some leadership.  I think we need a proper excel document of what is and is not done.

Looks complicated for me doing such "deep" edit of that file

It whould be easy if someon upload this mod with the fix, not everyone is "clever" enough to do this job

The Bootleg Configurator includes the above fixes and automates the installation of all models in this thread plus many more.
