I remember this a little while back when I was installing. Have you installed FF7 to a non-system folder? (aka program files, etc)
I use C:\Games\FF7
install bootleg into the same directory, but in a different folder.
I use C:\Games\Bootleg

should work once that happens, make sure Bootleg is set to run as Administrator by default through the Property tab.

Guys there are some graphic glitches with grimmy's upscaled textures, e.g here (black squares around rock parts)

The textures that give this problem are energy00_00.png and energy00_03.png into C:\Games\FF7\mods\Bootleg\Magic\ff7\data\battle\special\hado, without them looks like this (pixelled rock parts)

I tryed myself to give a shot http://www.imagebam.com/image/e6daaf320761440 with PS for remove the "black" backgound as grimmy sayed in his thead but stil not looks good (white lines)

Anyone please could give me a feed about how fix the textures correctly?  :-)

The pixels of the textures in battle can only have the status visible or not visible (the alpha canal can be only 0 or 100, but not between those two). Transparent looking effects are placed on transparent polygons.

I've been sitting on 93.8% for 2 days now. The mod preview looks fantastic. I'm so eager for it to finish ;D

If someone is able to seed me to 100%, i'd be more than happy to let it seed on my server box indefinitely.

I'm seeding now.

zanderus, is there anyway we can keep in touch outside of the forums? In case there is to be an update to the torrent, I'm always looking for seedboxes that want to help host our mods. Let me know  :)

Hi Hitachis, have you solved your problem with Bootleg? try this D:\PogramsFiles\FINAL FANTASY VII\MODS\Tifa's Package [Bootleg040 Mods]\Bootleg040 do make sure that in the Bootleg before running the mods search in the Mod source that is in the right location, also check if the Destination Location where you install final fantasy VII is showing there rigth.

thats all I know :/ if not try to do a fresh install of ff7 thats my last option. sorry if I am not a big help :/

Good luck friend!

Your battle.lgp is missing files it seems. How much free space did you have in the temp folder you assigned?

is it bad that i put the temp folder in the same folder as the mod source folder? the place i installed it to has 800 GB of space left.

It's only bad if the temp folder doesn't have any free space in it. Some say 10GB, while others say 30GB. I've never assigned it to the mod source folder, so perhaps try starting over with a different location assigned e.g. D:\temp

did that, it works now! the only problem i have now is that the bottom part (15 percent of the screen) is black even though i have it on fullscreen 1080p and there are also some graphical gltiches (lines).
[EDIT]: if i increase the resolution to 1920x1300 the lines disappear, yet that black part still remains on the bottom part of the screen. the fields also haven't changed in resolution for some reason (very low quality)

The bottom black area will always be there. It's present in my playthrough as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e18Ay2kJE4&list=PLB3794695EC5A2382&index=3

What option did you choose for your field textures?

the regular option that was available. (not the facepalmer one) should i pick the facepalmer one? I'd have to re install everything again, but that's alright since i have already done a complete uninstall last night before i went to bed.

I'm pretty sure that the texture configuration can be altered in the FF7 Bootloader without having to reinstall everything, hell, the first time I played I was shocked to see how bad the background is and thought something was wrong with my game, when I changed the resolution, it's much better now, though there are still come imperfections.

There is nowhere in the Bootloader Configure to change actual textures. FacePalmer is the most complete and consistent of the field texture options, and it's the option I always play with.
