Heh, I used to switch around the setting in my GC to like christmas and other dates, just to get all the cool extras ^_^.
I guess thats cheating, but still.
Anyways, I guess it just depends on what type of games you like. I really dont care, aslong as its fun and enjoyable (Though it can be argued that I might be easily entertained), I still found it enjoyable. I stopped playing it after awhile (5 months, when I traded in my GC), but I enjoyed it.
I dont know, I guess if you liked the Sims, you'll like Animal Crossing. Though I can see how it could be a little dull with no real objectives, but then again, I like that open-endlessness.
