Crash when exiting starting field (train)

First battle is fine, so is menu navigation, but no matter what i try i cannot get past this first field.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled and removed reg files as per guide.

I've eventually resolved this, the Beta model resizing in ChaOS was the culprit.

Turning off that option allowed the field to generate correctly.

I get the error message "something very bad happened Wrote crash.dmp to FF7 install dir." do you know a fix for this? This crash happens right when Cloud umps off the train before the first battle. Please help.
