I was bored, so I decided to see how Cloud would look as a civilian and gave him a redesign.

Note - this design is used by Malachi in a different mod I'm making, but that mod is a private mod, and this one isn't.

You gotta admit that Cloud CAN wear clothes other than the soldier uniform if he looks this good. XD

I did some other things I wouldn't mind too much to share if anyone's interested. (most of them are done when I was bored, or were beta content for a mod I was working on)

I think I might post progress on my main mod here.

If anyone sees anything they want, then i could see about editing it for a general release.

eg, instead of releasing Malachi, I release Civilian Cloud, which is just Cloud with the same clothes as Mal.

and other things, like jenova, I don't see why I couldn't just release her, she's more or less a black robe aeris with a mix between tifa and sephiroth's hair.

who knows? Might give me some more motivation to actually finish my mod.

And did anything from my last post appeal to anyone enough for me to post a link, or did anyone have any requests for something for me to do?

such as... Make a more human and graphically updated Mighty grunt.

That could be done relatively quickly by updating the arms and legs, and instead of the guns for hands, they could have submachine guns instead.

Ahhhh Uroloke. I remember back months and months, and maybe years ago someone posting all sorts of varieties of Red XIII. The only other one that comes to mind was an Ultima Weapon one.

Civilian Cloud and Tifa... are pretty good

. Maybe this chibis could "play" in some scenes like "the date".

i love it but notice theres no edit for the chibi on the world map (i think) and for the final battle as that uses a different model for cloud.

@Jaitsu, I must have forgot to put in the proper file for the shoulder, and this was just done in less than 5 mins to replace the heads of the models to normal cloud and take a few pics, I didn't expect it to have a decent reception.

For Civilian Cloud, want me to do all of the major Clouds? (normal, sword, bike, parachute, the train model and the wheelchair)

@Lord James, I approve of this idea, we could have a contest where we redesign someone, and the person that does the best, gets kudos or something.

If I did...

It would be something like this;

'Redesign a Final Fantasy 7 character!'

To enter, please leave a comment saying who you want to redesign!

It can be anyone at all, but it needs to have a field and battle model.

This week's theme is: dark.

You can redesign anything you want, but the redesign needs to have a darker theme to it, and that means a dark colour scheme, or a more 'dark' setting.

This is a redesign of the normal MP and vincent to have a darker feel to it, and would therefore be fitting.

or, it could be something like 'design a new soldier uniform' or anything at all based on the mood.

I was more thinking just one contest. Maybe a month timeframe and then a vote after. The prize would not be mod privledges. Its supposed to be a prize not a job. I was thinking perhaps a custom title.

I never said it WOULD be mod for a day, that was just something that came to mind.

Besides, something like redesigning characters, thats something that alot of people would be interested in.

My idea for if it was done properly would be a bi monthly contest thats open for 2 weeks, then judging for a few days, then a week after the contest closed, the winners are announced.

A prize of sorts could be a 'redesign hall of fame' where record the top 3 contestants and the entries they did and timestamp the contest they won.

Thats a pretty good idea to me.
