Downloading the latest ChaOS version from Nexus is probably your best bet. Since Kal maintains the updates there better.

I'm running Win 10/7H/Antimicro and it all works for me. So I don't understand why it wouldn't work for you.

Try running the GC again as admin. and chose the Overwrite option, it'll redo the conversion process and setup the correct folders/files/exe's again.

Have you tried removing registry keys upon each uninstall before installing again?

You need to run the game converter again and reset your sound device. Opening FF7Config.exe post game converter resets your registry keys and undoes everything the converter just did.

So if you plan to use Reunion, bc.exe is the one that needs to be used, as it applies the Reunion translations as well as allows you to use the MO. If the exe's still aren't working for you, maybe try running the game converter over again and select the overwrite option and see what happens.

Depending on which mods you have activated you need to use a specific exe for it to function correctly.

If you have 7H running properly you can re-run the GC as many times as you need without issues. This is usually good to do whenever your OS get's updates as that can sometimes screw up your 7H settings.
