Mods I've downloaded to use / what I think is the correct load order.

EDIT: its been solved. thanks Kuraudo!

It has worked just fine until today, more than likely I broke something (All I did was update to use Bonez UI mod).

Any help is appreciated. Game will boot up fine without mods turned on.

EDIT: Seems to be fine, my apologies! Awesome work!

Those Tactics avatars are INSANE, kudos! Any chance they may be released to be used as profile pics / avatars?

4
My apologies with the questions was just wanting to make sure I have the mod load order correct.

5
Alrighty thank you!

6
Anyone that has completed this, is it still recommended you watch your EXP / LV Gain in favor of stat boosts in the end game? Apologize if this has been answered before I did search but nothing came up.

7
Ahh OK, I accidentally mixed up the order of what to do.

Got it running so far so good.

Is there anyway to rebind the my movement keys on Controller?

IE its using the Joystick by default, if not no worries Ill warm up to it.

8
The mod should be compatible with all parts of Moguri as far as I can tell.

As for turn-based battles, it was actually not designed with them in mind, but you can absolutely play with them if you'd like. Like vanilla FF9 though, make sure to turn off turn-based battles when fighting Ozma, to my understanding the setting does not work there due to Ozma's unique quirks.

OK thank you!

Really appreciate the patience with all the questions, modding is a fairly new thing to me.

And last question, DBE should be at the top of the mod load correct? Only plan on using the better Backgrounds.

EDIT: After finishing the installation of Moguri when I open FF9 there is no longer an options to install mods.

9
Im not particularly worried about the Backgrounds, but is this compatible with the HQ Backgrounds?

Thanks again! (Have no issue setting up Mogiri / DBE with the steps listed!)

EDIT: Is this mod designed to be played in "Turn Based Mode" or can I leave the ATB as it is.

10
Gonna be jumping in tonight, is there anyway to confirm everything is working correctly?

Really excited been searching for a reason to go back to IX.

11
Edit: I managed to get it going, my apologies.

Edit 2: Is the alternate Title Screen available for Remastered or just 2013?

12
@Callisto I'm jumping back in and would like to try the No Exp patch if possible!

Releases / Re: [FF7PC-98/Steam] New Threat Mod (v2.0.94)
« on: 2020-11-04 19:57:01 »
the latest 7th heaven has both box and psx controller support in built without need for addon :) click on settings  >  controls > presets  Choose accordingly.

If u ran into issues can disable the addons. don't think the either nino char models or the world textures would cause any issue. field changes however could cause some issues. have  NT at the top of load order should give NT priority and keep any issues down to the very minimal.

Thank you so much! Everything has worked fine so far (Just got to world map).

14
Hey Mcindus, I had this up and running a while back but it seems to have gone haywire at some point.

I'm currently trying to play Callisto' Ragnarok mod with my Xbox One Controller wired via USB (I also have a PS4 controller I can use if it would be easier).
I'm fairly stupid, should I use Shunsq's mod or yours?

I thought I had it working and then I got to the Timber Owls mission and it most definitely wasnt correct lol.

He Sega Chief.

I'm using 7th Heaven to run FF7 NT2.0

Im trying to find a PSX or Xbox controller prompt addon but the one in 7th Heaven says its not compatible with any mods. Does anyone here or maybe you know of one that is compatible? Im planning on playing with updated World Textures and maybe Ninos style character models, would they cause any issues with NT?

Gameplay / Re: Final fantasy X - Punishment mod (ps2)
« on: 2020-08-28 20:39:51 »
Thank you! Ill be playing with the Expert Grid.

Ive waited FOREVER for a FFXHD Difficulty mod, then I remembered Landon Ray's Punishment Mod and that it was on the INT version of FFX with the Dark Aeons and Penance. Dont mind going from HD to SD for a replay of a great game. Thank you again and I'm sorry I necro bumped, I looked ALL over for active threads inregards to Punishment and this was the most current thread I could find on the net.

I didnt want to necro bump, but I didnt feel this warranted a new topic. Does anyone know if there is anyway to tell if the Mod successfully patched?

Is there anything in game I can reference to see if the patch worked, IE stats or grid stuff?

ah OK.

I noticed while skimming over the thread, what is the easiest way to download it?
Wanna make sure I download the most up to date version, saw a few updates and what not.

EDIT:

Worded that bad, how do I install Game Type A?
I'm using the Regular Installer at the top of the thread.

I'm an idiot, sorry, the ease of use of this mod is incredible, should have just used my brain.

I apologize if this has been asked @Sega Chief, but I was curious.

Did I read type A is FF7 with difficulty adjustments and some additions / movement of items etc etc

And Type B is normal OG NT FF7 with all the strange boss models etc etc?

Highly interested in Type A if I read everything correctly.

20
I'm getting

error:3983423270 :78
Object doesnt exist.

Followed the instructions to a T (Trying to mod the Remaster or 2019 ver).

I'm on windows 10.

About to begin playing this now myself.
Didnt notice anything about Triple Triad, does it remain the same (I'd dont mind Triad myself, just worried about items I may need from it)?

Are the GFs RECOMMENDATIONS for those characters or are they locked?

22
No worries, I was just curious.

Only reason I prefer the remaster sadly is how easy the controller configuration is, no need for mods or button image mods and what not.

Good luck to you and whomever else is working on the remaster!

23
Hey @Callisto any idea if or maybe when this could be applied to the remaster?

24
Thank you @Shunsq!

I really appreciate it, your patch is much more simpler and less time consuming than using other mods, cant wait for a fix on this!

25
I'm having the same issue, I had it working fine yesterday.

Get on today and the damn hand error wont go away, I've uninstalled FF8, reinstalled it, reloaded the Ragnarok Mod / RaW and redownloaded and used your Button Patch to no avail, the damn finger wont go away.
