If you couldn't figure out how to do it good with a transparent texture, you could always get rid of the texture in the red part and have it vector colored so that way you could keep the nice

metal look while still having the inside look crystal-like.

But im sure you'll figure it out.

HOLY... looks awesome. Thank god you didn't base it off of the crisis core sweeper. The original has a similar, but better design.

The only bad thing I can say about that image is that the FOV is terribly exaggerated. The texture is amazing.
