This project has been around for quite some time and it's built an amazing crowdfunding fanbase. Let Square get a good example of how a nostalgic game is actually being remade by maintaining it's original aspects!

Yes, of course, BotW was awesome too. I think OoT just adds the nostalgia effect a little more since I was younger playing it. And the move to N64 blew my mind for things like Zelda and Mario when I had grown up on NES/SNES/Genesis. I think A Link to the Past would have to be my favorite of all time.

almost all of that actually holds true for me as well, it was so awesome having the c buttons with all your weapons mapped to them, my one downside with botw is all the mandatory menu surfing but ocarina had a perfect control scheme for that weird controller

I would prefer A Link to the Past in a new engine. 1) It's my favorite Zelda 2) Re-imagining a 2D world into 3D gets me more excited than just updating a 3D world to better graphics.

Mine was Link's Awakening. I remember playing that on a game boy original in the age of 11 yo, one year after the original EU release. I used to pretend I was studying but secretly playing under my desk instead while hiding it in my secret spot below every time my mom was checking on me if I'm doing my homework or not... ahhh... such nostalgic memories!

This particular project is mainly Patreon based. Also just as a head notice, discussion about piracy is strictly prohibited in these forums. As far as I know since I've searched about any free links for myself, there are not yet any online. If someone knows better feel free to post.
