Problems with FF7 and Direct3D Accelleration

I can't seem to put the rendering mode to 3D in the FFVII Config program. :(
By the way, the 8-bit palette something fails too. :\

Download the nVidia patch for the game, and this should allow you to choose Hardware Rendering even if 8-bit Palette fails.  There should be a link to it in the "Useful Links" thread.

I need some help relocating the patch to fix this. I recently bought my copy of FFVII PC and every site I find that tells of this patch is either dead or leads to a different page. Thanks is advance.

Ok, I stumbled on another problem. I installed the TrueMotion files as recommended on the wiki site, but when I enter the Northern Cave, it goes black and tells me that the TrueMotion Filter must be updated. I went to the site and there is a note for FF7 players saying that they no longer support TM20. Can anyone help me find this update? Thanks in advance.

http://64.233.161.147/search?hl=en&q=truemotion+filter+download (HINT: it's the first link)

and just incase your new to forums scroll down and look for a link that reads 'Next Page'.  It's next to the link "Post Reply - ".  After that the very first post of the second page has a link to download it, just copy and paste into your address bar and follow instructions.  Then back on the forum found through the google search(on page 2) scroll down and you will find detailed instructions on how to install the file, pay close attention to the instruction nearest the end and use only one of these '\' at a time.

   Alternatively h t t p : / / f t p . i d i l i s . r o / w i n d o w s / C o d e c s / A C E M C P 6 0 3 P R O . e x e will get you an installation package with the codec, but you should only select the tm20 codec to install.  (that last link was on the same exact webpage as the instructions.)
