You can run the config yourself. No need to run it from the converter. I am not sure why the converter is not running the config for you, it's most likely because you need to right click the converter, click properties, and check the box that says "run as administrator".

But besides that, if that doesn't fix it... You can run the Config from the folder where your FF7.exe is (the game installation folder). There is a file called FF7Config.exe. Run that.

Hope that helps!

Okay NEVERMIND!!!! Someone can delete this post if needed.

I have fixed my problem with the crash after cloud jumps off the train! I finally found a post on this forum where someone had the EXACT same issue as me. It turns out that my problem was that I forgot to change the FF7.exe that 7th Heaven Mod Manager was using to launch the game, and I had The Reunion + Beacause mods activated! This is so weird too, because when I read the tutorial, I read the "IMPORTANT!" notes that said to use FF7_bc.exe if using The Reunion + Beacause, But after downloading all of the mods, and installing the game, and converting the game to make it moddable and everything, I must have forgotten to change which .exe file 7th Heaven was using.

I now have 7th Heaven Mod Manager launching the game with FF7_bc.exe and the game is now running and it does not crash when Cloud jumps off the train!

So there is the fix if anyone else has this issue in the future!!!!

Okay and now there is a new problem... I went into 7th Heaven Mod Manager and I opened up the Open GL Driver Config menu, and I checked the boxes for Preserve Aspect and Pixel Buffer. Now when I launch the game, the screen goes black as normal, and then it just disappears. The game closes without an error, before it even makes that "beep" sound when it launches. So I went back into the Open GL Driver Config menu and unchecked the boxes for Preserve Aspect and Pixel Buffer, and it still keeps closing the game RIGHT after launching and the screens goes black.

Nevermind this message, I fixed the black screen I was getting, by running the ff7 Game Converter again.

But I am still getting a crash when Cloud jumps off the train after the intro video.

Hey everyone! I am new to the forum and I found this place after looking for FF7 mods. Just trying to upgrade the audio and video a bit, not trying to add anything NEW to the game.

Anyways... I found Tifa's Final Heaven and I followed the instructions 100%. I launch the game and everything is working great, and the mods are all working so far (I can tell because the main menu is different and the character models are all different.

Well after watching the introduction cut-scene with Aeris, the train stops and everyone gets off the train. Barret waves for Cloud to get off the train and Cloud does a flip and jumps off the train. Once Cloud lands on the ground, my game crashes. Everytime. Giving me the error saying that something has happened and asking if I would like to save a crash log to crash.ff7.

The game works perfectly before I install the mods.

Can someone PLEASE help me out with this? I have been looking all over the internet for 2 days now. I have already read through ALL of Tifa's 7th Heaven F.A.Q's. I have reinstalled the game 2 times now, once last night and once this morning. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the mods. I have uninstalled 7th Heaven Mod Manager and reinstalled it.

Thanks in advance!!!!

P.S - Thank you so much for making such a GREAT forum!
