In the future, when the game tells you that you got Death Joker, don't confirm. Just run. You can still escape from the battle without dying, as long as you're not surrounded and it's not a boss.

I did not know that.

Sorry to necro, but since it's CU, I hope it's okay.
I don't know if you're still looking for a provider, but I recently switched to Straight Talk, and am pretty happy. You buy your phone outright (so it's a steep upfront cost) but then it's just $45/month for everything: calls, texts, internet. No worries about in-network or data plans.

How do you feel about frequent save points? They seem to be the norm now. But I always feel as though they're "too easy". I remember running around praying for save points while running low on MP from healing. Now I just find a save point every third screen, and run over it to restore HP/MP. It basically feels like cheating, IMO.

I hadn't heard of Kara no Kyoukai. It sounds like something I'd really like, thanks.

I want a game that is the opposite. I want to be a zombie in the beginning of the outbreak - where I have to try and avoid being eradicated by the humans and further spread the virus, until everyone zombies are the dominant species.

And the cloud save feature is just the term to identify the fact that we can load the saves from any computer - since they are uploaded to the "cloud" and the info is stored on your account, it doesn't necessarily mean we can save at any time.
Oh, right. Like cloud computing. Ugh, my dreams of battle square glory are shattered.

I hope the Cloud Saves feature works in the Battle Square.

Yeah, I probably just spend too much time thinking about FF.
Honestly, when he activated the star map by that piano, I was half-expecting Vegnagun to activate.

Saw Prometheus this weekend.
Did anyone else think of Bugenhagen in that scene with the planetarium?

Thanks e1sunz. Calling it the "best superhero movie by far" that I can watch certainly makes me want to check it out.

15
Was it really amazing? I haven't seen a superhero movie in a while, aside from Batman and the Watchmen. I feel like many of the superhero movies are actually sub-par, but many people who read the comics go and support them regardless of how good they are.

I love Joss Whedon, so I believe this movie could be amazing. But I'm leery of watching it because I didn't like quite a few other comic movies that people have raved about. I thought the first Iron Man was good (not great). I thought Captain America looked bad so I didn't bother. I didn't like the second Iron Man.

Based on the above, should I see this?

So... no Pineapple Chronicle?
I will still play that if it's ever made.

May 2012 be kind to you.

I got it as a birthday present the year it came out.
I am very envious of your cheap find in the store! I'm always on the lookout for another cheap PC copy, just so I can, well, be greedy and have two.

She better let me watch My Little Pony on Saturdays. If not, there's gonna be some hell.
I feel as though this is one of those matters you should have already discussed: Finances, children, future plans, time for ponies...

My top 5 at the moment. I know a couple are old, but they're that good  :)

I love your 1, 4, and 5. If I was going with all-time favorites then  4 and 5 would definitely be on my list as well.

500 posts!?  You Freak! lol

Its hard to think of a favorite tv show.  I watch a lot of History/Science/Discovery channel stuff.  Through The Wormhole is pretty sweet.  I like Wilderness Survival shows.  Recently I've been watching Star Trek Voyager on netflix, I'm hesitant to watch all the episodes though because chances are that I'll never watch it again once I've watched everything :(

Ha! I hadn't even noticed!

Do you watch NOVA at all?

I think it was a good choice to get a half sleeve. That way you can cover it up with a shirt if you get a desk job.

As far as college goes, I think it's somewhat becoming too expensive to be worth it. Unless you come from a rich family that can afford it, you'll find yourself graduating with a large debt, and a jobless economy. Luckily, I had tuition breaks, so it wasn't an issue for me. I also didn't face this economy when I graduated. But getting a job at $12/hour is a good deal. You can support yourself on that for a good while. (I'm assuming your fiance works, as well.)

Marriage is a lot more fun that I thought it would be. People tell you all these ball and chain horror stories. I actually felt the same at PitBrat before I got engaged. Now I have a completely different outlook! I've only been married a year, but so far it's been way better than dating! I had dated my spouse for so long, that I didn't think getting married would really change anything (or possibly even hurt our relationship). But it was really a change for the better. You some how just feel better about everything (at least I did). Almost as if you let out a breath you didn't realize you'd been holding. Plus, zero commute time!

And there is nothing wrong with ponies

Ah, come on . . .  When Shane shot Otis in the leg, that was some intense drama!
Okay, you're right - that was totally awesome. That whole episode was really good. Him shooting the guy, you not knowing why he's shaving his head in the beginning. Yeah, that was pretty dark.
I think I just didn't like the season opener. It was an hour and a half of nothing. Plus, they  had inconsistencies with what they told us last season. And some of the monologues people are spouting are really annoying / not well written.

But you're right. The whole Otis thing was really good storyline.
