Graphic updates for Steam vers?

i know that teh steam vers is pretty much the 2012 re-release, but

is there any texture enhancements for higher resolutions? (i play at 1776x1000 to make it a lil easy to stream and swap to/fro chat.) like enhanced battlefeild/battle scenes? or Char Models? the only mod i've used for FF7 was the Music Remix pack. (and before this re-release, the windows XP Compatibility patch.)

I'm guessing you're asking about FF7?

There are a ton of alternate models, model textures, battle scene textures, and field background textures that people have made. You can find them all in this forum.

Hey Cael,

You can use GameConverter® made by Kompass63 to convert your version to 1998 version.
It will allow you to use most of the mods.
I know for sure it is working on 2012 release but I have some doubts if it's working on Steam version.
Give it a try !

solved the access Denied Issues by extracting the GameConverter to get the batchfile + its utiliy folder and run teh batch in an "run as Admin" command prompt
