I've got a question: which language did you use? I think you probably used C# or C++, but if you used anything else, tell me. I'd be glad to hear.

Way too negative of a post. Just a warning, this game was criticized for being very difficult, not being that close at all to the original game with the exception of the story line, character names and materia, and was generally not that fun to play.

Well, you won't be able to boost them then
i never do it. it just doesn't pay off.
If you are a really fast tapper (like me), you'll notice a huge difference in damage between 75 boost and 150 boost.

God damn, I wish I could get 99999 damage using this and the patch to break the 9999 damage limit, but it's impossible. I can't even get past 15000, no matter how high I set anything to.

By his writing, he doesn't seem like the kind of person I'd recommend to modify any game. Modifying a game takes a mind with an IQ 100 or higher, and the fact that he wants people to help him out with everything states that he can't do it himself.

Also, Halo? Why does he want to switch the characters to be halo characters and crap?

To tell the truth, I'd rather not have any voices in FF7.

They'd kind of sound awkward at the perspective you see the game from.

I would really recommend instead of making a total conversion for Final Fantasy VII, try making a mod for something else first. Also, get used to an art tool. Blender is good, and it is free, though the UI makes no sense until you read a guide. The problem is that you could attach Halo models to the main characters, but you would have to make them have the same number of bones with the same names (which isn't that hard, actually). Then you'd need to attach the animations to that character. However, I don't know how to get the animations from the cloud character. In other words, this might be impossible (at least, in my knowledge). But, who knows, I may be wrong. I know you are just trying to get icons done right now, but, in reality, your main goal is to do what I am talking about, right?

Misread, though you meant FF VII. XD

I have no idea how to skip the FMVs.

First question.

Do you even have any experience modifying Final Fantasy VII?

Is there a way to get this to work with Final Fantasy 8 Configurator?

Thank you!

I also noticed that this patch also has PhysX for my Nvidia 8800 GT! Even more thank you!

This maybe?
Thanks! Guess I didn't search around enough. Now just to set nHancer to apply FSAA to FFVII, which I hear will get rid of the corruption.

I got an 8800 GT about a year ago, and I recently decided to try and play FFVII PC with it. I installed it, booted it up, loaded Disc 1, and was in the configurations when I noticed something. No matter which Nvidia patch I use (Riva 128 or TNT), my models show up black, and there are graphical glitches in the pre-rendered areas of the game. Plus, the game suffers from graphics corruption in the GUI. For now, I can only run the game in software mode, but I'd really like to run it in hardware mode. I don't think that is possible though, because, from everywhere I looked, from these forums to numerous other websites, either the people don't have an 8 series card, or they haven't fixed their problem.

I guess I am stuck with my software mode for now, which I have to run in quarter screen so that the FMV's don't lag (I have the TrueMotion 2.0 codec installed). If anyone knows a way (or thinks they do) to solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
