so this issue isn't about new threat, BUT, it's your mod and it's listed on the front page so here goes lol
7h is telling me the battle model swap og style mod has an update. but each time i try to update it, it simply won't. like, it'll download but not install. is there a way to manually update it without 7h? like do you have a site where you host your mods? apologies if this is in the wrong area :)

EDIT: never mind i'm an idiot lol. i thought that the one on the front page would look similar to the 1.5 one.
i was wrong lol

so i'm now on NT 2.0 and i can NOT for the life of me find any sort of guide that resembles this one for 1.5 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X1sQP1Q6MVrxt1E7ytniaG_OEhN8XqlAH2Srv3iHjLc/edit#gid=1941162602
is there a 2.0 version of it somewhere that i'm just too blind to see?
all i found was a drop guide or whatever on on the front of this mod page :(

Tifa requires to be party leader, if in the highwind OP room and the party leader NPC is not at the right hand side of the room

 then nip down the northren crater until the final meet point (point of no return), should be a NPC that can teleport you back to the highwind

thanks :) i figured it out though. i was reversing the Cancel and Ok buttons. (aka hitting ok when i should hit cancel and vice versa)

EDIT: nvm i was reversing cancel and ok lol. i figured it out
so i'm in need of some help with nt 1.5. i'm on disc 3 and got the message about the new threats. i'm trying to get tifa's final limit and i'm playing the piano correctly (i think lol) but nothing happens. i did skip the kalm flashback if that makes a difference. is there something specific i need to do? i have her as leader but it seems even that's not enough. help? thanks!

ok so as the title says, i literally can NOT play this game with ANY mods other than texture based
so no gameplay or menu overhauls
and animations just causes a game driver crash
if i try to load the game with anything other than textures it just hangs for several seconds and then closes or i get the SQenix logo then a game driver crash

should I reinstall all mods while running as admin then set the FFVII exe to run as admin & win98 Compatibility as well?
cause i don't see anyone else running into these issues T_T and i LOVE using tifa but her limit break is annoying to fully pull off
will have to find time for all this.
may as well download the mods all over again too.... for the 5th or more time X_X

tOF... your machine specs certainly shouldn't be the issue (they're better than mine, even within a VM!), so I went back to your original app log and noticed this at the end...Together with how you describe many of the mods causing crashes as soon as on of their functions comes into play, I'm starting to think that perhaps there's something in your install that got corrupted, rather than what you're trying to do.  That, or perhaps Win10's memory protection algos are getting in the way.  Have you tried reinstalling (as admin), and/or running in compatibility mode (Win98 + Admin, or WinXP + Admin) yet?

there are several options and mods that will cause insta Crash with a "something went seriously wrong" error
the following mods cause a crash on start up:
The Reunion (regardless of the exe i use. and i've tried all 3 just to make sure)
Animations
The following mod SETTINGS cause a crash upon usage:
Tweaks and cheats:
Lucky tifa: Crash when i select her Limit Break
God mode: Crash upon getting targeted
Lock Inventory: Crash upon opening menu

also of note:
there's a good 10ish second delay when loading the world map. regardless of the situation (i.e. coming out of a battle or a town)
and an even longer delay when loading mini games (Bike chase, Chocobo racing, Fort condor)
not sure why this is happening.
and to test i activated JUST cheats and tweaks with save anywhere and lucky tifa.
guess what? still crashes -_-

ok Reunion simply does not work
i tried running the game converter again and used the overwrite option to no avail
the game won't launch with Reunion active. dunno what else i can do

ok so WHICH exe do i need for reunion? ff7_bc or mo?
i've tried all 3 but none work...
and it seems certain tweak settings cause a crash too...-_-
lucky tifa, lock inventory, god mode all cause crashes...
sigh...
also kinda off topic, which setting is the nightmare difficulty?
i really liked the dialog changes it made

not sure why i was getting \\ in places when it should only be \
but it's working now. well... other than The Reunion
but i can live with out that for now i guess

EDIT: ok i can get into a battle but then i get the oops error
GAH!!! certain features in the Tweaks and cheats Mod also cause a crash upon entering a battle D:
like lock inventory for example. but so far that's the only one i've used that causes it
Also the animation mod causes a crash upon battle enter. so i've disabled that.
will post more if i get anymore crashes

so I did everything right to my knowledge but when I click launch game, it goes to a black screen then crashes to desktop with no dialog box or error message or anything
the FAQ says to set the sound device to the correct one and that will fix it. well it doesn't.  the same thing keeps happening.
that's if i try to launch via the manager. if i launch via the ff7_bc/mo.exe i DO get an error. i get postprocessing initialization failed. check app.log for more details.

i've uninstalled FF7, deleted the reg keys, deleted my mods and redid EVERYTHING. NOTHING helps
I've tried disabling postprocessing. didn't help
nothing I do works.

Also, i can't get my shader options choice to "stick"
i'll chose Nvidia Complex multi shader for example, click ok, go back to find the box is blank again.
this can't be normal can it?

EDIT: ok so i swapped to an earlier version of 7th heaven and got it MOSTLY working.
but i can't use animation OR the Reunion - Because and menu overhaul
i saw in a previous thread i'm not the only one that has this issue.
i get  the "something went seriously wrong" error
not sure why those two mods don't work but it's definitely them.

EDIT 2: ok nevermind...this is getting really dumb.
i had it working till i got to the point of the opening bombing mission
then as soon as i was able to control cloud, "something has gone seriously wrong" error pops up and i have to close the game!
what's going on here? i REALLY wanna play FFVII with these mods, but as of now i can't
i've uninstalled everything and then redid everything like 6 or 7x now
i'm at my wits end!
HELP  PLEASE!! T_T

I don't have much to on; assuming here:
You are on windows trying to edit steam save.
You are opening the file SaveData_ww.dat in C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY IX\Steam\EncryptedSavedData\SavedData_ww.dat

You select slot 1 and saveId 1.
You click to edit the 1st (and only) row.
Edit window opens, you edit stuff and then click "ok".
You click "save".
Goes in game, open saveSlot 1 saveId 1 and Nothing is changed.

Does this sound correct?

yes. correct. execpt i'm using save id 2. should i use save id 1?

This may be a long shot, but have you tried running the save editor as an admin?

(Right click Memoria.exe>Run as administrator)

EDIT: ....for those who might have this issue... don't use the continue option at the main menu. that for whatever reason doesn't apply the changes the save edit did... you need to actually load the game for the menu -_-. i didn't realize this was the issue till JUST NOW D:
