first of all, congratulations on acquiring a new house to live in and for becoming soon "one of us" married people! I wish you the best of luck!

Said that, wow.... More wonderful creations that are really giving us all hope that one day we will play the game with update graphics that are both new and at the same time quite faithful to the original art! We couldn't really ask for more.

Square Enix should have hired Dan (Reunion), UpRisen, Kaldarasha, you, jmp434 and a few others for the visual upgrade and a few more (including Tsunamods for professional Voice Over coordination) to just revamp the game. With your pooled talent we would have improved a game that only needed that very kind of improvements you are sharing with the community for free.

Thanks a lot!

First of all, congratulations. This seems to be an excellent attempt at upscaling. I suppose you are collaborating with UpRisen and trying to make the internal graphical/visual consistency as good as possible as part of the Avalanche Arisen (

There will be compatibility with the upcoming (well... sooner or later) version 6 of Reunion?

Thanks and best of luck fixing any kind of glitches that may be found.

Fantastic job on this last one as well!

I am following this project with the greatest interest!

I hope you can complete this one, weeemus!

I love your work.

Sorry, I meant the original re-translation! ;)

about the last piece of retranslation: I am no native English speaker so feel free to tell me I am completely off but this line:

“Nah,she’s in to Zeng.”

sounded to me way better using the original translation's "into".

Thanks for the updates!

FF7 can infact have semi transparency. I have personally imported a model of the Brotherhood from FFX, with transparent blade. The method to do it was a bit annoying. Have to set transparency in gimp and in blender before converting the files back to p. then play around in kimera a bit and youll eventually get a decent result. The same can be done for battles, which I will be doing once I get around to fixing/enhancing my current work.

I am looking forward to the completion of your excellent work, UpRisen!

What you have done so far is astounding and I wish you continued success!

Fantastic, faulked! ;)

It'll be done when it's done.

Way to go to chide the crybabies like myself!

So... another deadline missed.  How time flies.  But we're closing in on it now.   Still need Luksy / JWP's help in regards to Opengl issues.

It'll soon be exactly 2 years since the release of R05...

It would have been nice to celebrate the special occurrence with the new version but not so much to hope to make it to the three years anniversary...  ;)

We are dealing with two masters here... :-) Two great guys that are making my day each time I see work from them.

And with them, UpRisen... whose project I am holding at heart and wishing for completion.

Keep it up, guys!

And thanks again!

Thanks mate, have you seen the graffiti on the garage blind? xD

Wow... I hadn't noticed.

I am honored. I don't think I deserved the privilege. But thank you.

I am sad to learn that you can no longer continue with what you started, jmp434. Your work is absolutely stunning and I will be always hoping you can return to it in the future.

Said that, I am also very glad that you are entrusting jusete with your material. You could hardly find a better disciple and maintainer for your production!

Thanks to the both of you and I hope jusete can have some financial support via Paypal!

We are few here perhaps but I hope we can all give some contribution.

I'm ready to give my small financial contribution as well, of course!

Best of luck!

jusete, you have really come a long way and we are all rooting for  you.

My thanks to Shampignon too and everyone else who is going to lend you a hand on this!

I am still hoping for jmp434 to join efforts with you. That'd make for an incredible duo at work together.

Hey Dan!

Thanks so much for the update! I see you have lot on your plate and while I am sadly incapable of lending you a hand, I am confident that you will deliver an outstanding version of Reunion once all those conflicts are resolved. I know you are a perfectionist so I understand you are trying to find the best solution to each one of those and it will take time.
