Well, dear DLPB, it seems we are really close to the R06 release.

That day we will all need to drink something to celebrate. 

And then a well deserved pause to lay back and enjoy what you and your collaborators have accomplished.

We are all looking forward to celebrating R06 together once it's out. I know there will be R07 but R06 is a milestone of capital importance.

I, like many others, have been long time fans and supporters of this great project. I know I have not earned or acquired any right to give suggestions or advice but, hoping to not do any harm discussing the Formation/Order/Form choice, I was wondering: could "Lineup" perhaps be a word that may fit well in this case?

Hello!

I am probably asking a very silly/newbie question but I didn't seem to find a straight answer easily. I have authored a small modification for FF7 a long time ago and was wondering what needs to be done to make it compatible with the 7Heaven format.

first of all, congratulations on acquiring a new house to live in and for becoming soon "one of us" married people! I wish you the best of luck!

Said that, wow.... More wonderful creations that are really giving us all hope that one day we will play the game with update graphics that are both new and at the same time quite faithful to the original art! We couldn't really ask for more.

Square Enix should have hired Dan (Reunion), UpRisen, Kaldarasha, you, jmp434 and a few others for the visual upgrade and a few more (including Tsunamods for professional Voice Over coordination) to just revamp the game. With your pooled talent we would have improved a game that only needed that very kind of improvements you are sharing with the community for free.

First of all, congratulations. This seems to be an excellent attempt at upscaling. I suppose you are collaborating with UpRisen and trying to make the internal graphical/visual consistency as good as possible as part of the Avalanche Arisen (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=18029.msg254923#msg254923)?

There will be compatibility with the upcoming (well... sooner or later) version 6 of Reunion?

Thanks and best of luck fixing any kind of glitches that may be found.

about the last piece of retranslation: I am no native English speaker so feel free to tell me I am completely off but this line:

"Rude
“Nah,she’s in to Zeng.”

sounded to me way better using the original translation's "into".

FF7 can infact have semi transparency. I have personally imported a model of the Brotherhood from FFX, with transparent blade. The method to do it was a bit annoying. Have to set transparency in gimp and in blender before converting the files back to p. then play around in kimera a bit and youll eventually get a decent result. The same can be done for battles, which I will be doing once I get around to fixing/enhancing my current work.

I am looking forward to the completion of your excellent work, UpRisen!

What you have done so far is astounding and I wish you continued success!

So... another deadline missed.  How time flies.  But we're closing in on it now.   Still need Luksy / JWP's help in regards to Opengl issues.

It'll soon be exactly 2 years since the release of R05...

It would have been nice to celebrate the special occurrence with the new version but not so much to hope to make it to the three years anniversary...  ;)
