Quite possible....  although in that case it happens with original engine.

Is there any other way/place to download this other than Torrent as it's blocked in my current location.

Okay, thank you for the reply, it's only temporary while i'm working away it's just the traffic is blocked on the network I have access to and public spots are super slow, I just thought I would replay FF8 in the evenings only to find out the music/sound was garbage on the Steam version. Thanks for making this as well can't wait to try it.

Try changing your DPI settings by right clicking the .exe and selecting properties.

I'm resurrecting my Final Fantasy related video downloads, so here is a web mirror at https://kalak.dhs.org/ for as long as work lets me do this (which has been so for years, so it will be a while). I've had a permanent seed for years, so I may as well mirror it too. Enjoy!

Hmm, I didn't know it was getting low, I will keep my seed up as long as I can then, love this OST and thanks to everyone who worked on it..

Hey guys,

I'm getting an annoying issue with this. After installing Lunatic Pandora (which works absolutely fine, no problems) and then attempting to install this (W07) mod, no music at all will play in my game.

I tried to troubleshoot this by myself, looking at guides online posted in the steam forums and the like - changing some config INI's etc. Nothing seemed to fix the issue.

In a fit of desperation, and because I needed a bit of spring cleaning, I completely reformatted my operating system. I figured it would definitely work on a completely clean install, but no such luck.

Edit: Just to mention, I install W&R with default settings as I would like to use the default PS1 soundtrack.

At this point I'm a bit stuck with what to do.

To replicate:

1. Install FF8 via steam in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VIII
2. Launch game without mods
3. Install the Lunatic Pandora mod in to above directory
4. Launch game to confirm mods are working.
5. Install Roses and Wine W07 in to same directory
6. Launch game, have no music playing.

My save location is in Balamb Garden, at the first point in the entire game I can save, before the first Ifrit fight.

Any insight in to how I can fix this would be very much appreciated, I'm not sure what else to do!

Thanks.

Try running the game without using ff8_ultra_launcher and see if that helps?  The game will still load all mods except for the injected dll's (hard, magic, publish, etc.) and the UV injector (you can move the uv injector to RaW/GLOBAL/Hext/ to still use it this way). Are you using gedo or reshade or any other packages? Just LP and RaW?  Have you tried updating the dx9c drivers for windows 10?  If you go to the MCINDUS Steam Guide, there's a direct link in the troubleshooting section to the proper dx9c runtime drivers you need to make sure everything runs smoothly. Let me know if any of this helped!

I hope this is ok with DLPB, I have uploaded this MOD to my Google Drive account as a mirror, if not I be happy to take them down.
