Level Up sound effect?

Does anyone know what file it is? I listened through every single sound effect twice and none of them sound like the level up sound effect.

I'm talking specifically about the noise that plays as the EXP bar increases after battle. This noise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e18Ay2kJE4&t=13m20s

Do more searching.  Use sfxedit by Luksy, extract the sound effects, load them in a music program and listen out for it.  If you still haven't found it  in a few days and no one else has helped, I will look.

That's what I have done, I extracted all the sound effects, all 700+ of them, and listened to them 1 by 1, twice over now. I can't find it.

I can only imagine that the sound might be generated on the fly by the game, or maybe it's made by combining multiple effects or something..

It might be easier to disable music and run the game, finish a battle, and record the sound with Audacity's "What I hear" option, but I can't get the game to run on my laptop which is all I have access to for a while.

No, I am guessing you have just missed it.   It does not generate things on the fly... very unlikely. Try again...  one more time, all way through, if you still can't then I will look.

I started going through the list and having winamp set to Repeat the file, thinking it might be a short sound that replays over and over.. and I *think* it might be "44", it sounds similar.. but then there must also be another sound that plays once the EXP bar finishes going up to cap it off.

Well, if i'm hearing it i'm not recognizing it, it's hard because if it is another sound effect, it's very short, and hearing it on it's own it's hard to tell if that's it, i'm convinced the main part is '44' though

I'd have to have an account to see that but I can tell from here that the 2 you need are 44 and 45.

I figured it would be 45 but I didn't have a 45, so that must be it renamed to 'Cursor - Learn unknown' (I would have done it a while back)
