Help with FF7 after install?

I installed FF7 on my computer and followed some guide on the windows 7 forums to install it on Windows 7 64bit.
I installed it, Installed the 1.02 Patch, Installed Aali's custom driver latest .11B changed FF7 config to custom driver, changed permissions. then started up FF7 but the game starts up black screen then exits back to desktop. Theres nothing that shows in APP.log? Any help

I was able to get it running before but now I got my new PC so I wanted to play again. I don't understand what I did wrong? I also installed the K Lite Codec and still the problem persists

Make sure your video and sound drivers are properly configured in the FF7configur.exe

Had the same trouble after using Bootleg, where bootleg fails to properly set the sound driver to your primary audio output device (it basically does not set any device).
