You're having comprehension issues. I'll say it one more time:

I am not here to tell you what bugs exist.  I don't have time to start investigating bugs that *may* be there.  Install RaW and then you'll know - won't you?  And you'll be able to report a bug rather than ask me if this or that bug is fixed.

Until then, you should not be posting here. And you most definitely shouldn't be referencing other non-supported versions of the game in any kind of report.

I need to know how that's a bug. I need to know how the PSX differed to what you've just shown.  Sending me a random clip isn't helping.  And is he definitely using RaW?

Is anyone else around here seeing the same stupidity I am?

Lorath...  i suggest you look back on this thread and realize how and why you've wasted my time and your own.  Don't post  here unless you have an actual existing bug with RaW.  Don't speculate.  Don't ask. Either post a known bug with a clear example or don't post. The result when you don't is to spend 5 pages asking about a bug that doesn't exist with this mod and then proving to yourself it doesn't.

Why didn't you check to begin with?

I wonder if Lorath is the same dimwit who came into the Discord screaming "Bug! Bug! Bug!" about various 7H issues that aren't 7H's fault

back to business....

It seems that my "shumi progress" memory location may be wrong.

I am using

'Shumi: ' + inttostr(PByte (Progress_Off + 367) ^ ) + ' - ' +

Where "progress_off" is

Progress_Off, // this is + 256 in the field code.  Starts 0xE10 in Savemap.

And it's currently showing as 0 for a completed Laguna model in Shumi Village,

What is the correct memory location?  Search for "it is finished" in Deling to get the correct text box if you can help.

I assume the savemap location does not move around in memory?

Quote
shumi quest completed (1CFEC27 in mem)

is what I thought it was.

if (var_623_ubyte >= 32) begin

Is the shumi progress...  but now it's about getting var_623 in memory.  Have that horrible feeling it moves about.

01CFEC17 is the address in steam / geforce US.  Assuming it doesn't start moving about!

--- the address above is not the one the game checks for music... but from what I can see that byte is 0 when shumi completed and shouldn't be.  So god only knows what's happened there.  I'll use the other one which is the main progress.

Is there a possibility of adding Enrico Deiana remakes too? :D
Because he has a lot of remakes for FFVIII, slowly adding more as time goes on... Great remakes might i add lol.
They definitely deserve the recognition. :)

I haven't a clue what those are - but it's up to others to create loop packs now.  My work is done. Learn how to loop OGGs and release something.  :)

I'll agree that (s)he makes some great stuff, but it's up to him(her?) to add them.  It's not our material to distribute.

Because I just let YouTube run, and swore off Failbook a while ago.

Hi DLPB,

Thanks for this mod, as a sound engineer I'm happy for every second spent not listening to midi music -unless it's for nostalgia purposes.

I just encountered a situation in which if I have Lunatic Pandora/gedosato DS with my FF8, installing RaW means not being able to choose any downsampling resolutions at the launcher anymore.

Do you know how that could be possible? or if there's anything I could troubleshoot myself.

Cheers,
Alex

Fixed the missing DS resolutions from list problem by adding both FF8_launch2 and FF8_Ultra_Launcher to the gedosato user list.

Also I had a problem in which I could hear both midi and RaW music playing at the same time, apparenlty the installer didn't work on the dmusic folder. Reinstalling RaW fixed it

Cheers!
Alex

Hi DLPB, I'm new to the forum but I wanna ask, the link to the RaW W07 package, is it the latest version where all the music is updated? Just want to know before I start downloading to use it. Thanks.
