Problem With ATI Sapphire HD 2600 Pro (FFVII)

(1/1)

Stalker:
Ok, so I installed my FFVII on the pc with the new graphics card ,i installed official 1.02 patch, entered the new cooler skins(did not went through the ficedula process of recreating lgp files etc. i have them backed up and i insert them every time after I install FF7) installed TrueMotion 2.0 and when i started the game, with Direct3D NVIDIA ->TNT checked, all I had was Cloud's missing feet (when off battle) half NPCs (without body, only with their heads)
and this

in battle

When I changed to Software Render everything was ok but the Eidos movie was slower than when i had checked Direct3D, and I assume that all movies will be slower...
So, I would like to know what to do... because i want to play the game!

My specs:
OS:XP SP2
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro AGP
CPU:Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
System RAM: 1023 MB

Any help appreciated!

wow, this is weird, about 2 minutes ago, I started a topic, with exactly the same problem! :-P
except my processor is 1.20 GHz...
Please help us!

EDIT: I found something that runs the game with OpenGL, I found out that Final Fantasy VII was supposed to work with OpenGL, but they dropped it, but some things still remain in the code (so actually, this isn't a solution, it's another part of another problem :-P )
