okay but is it the phoenix patch that is causing the world map graphics glitches and background load failures, and if so is there any way to fix this without a complete reinstall? thanks

The PRP mod uses different .exe and data (.lgp) files.  This makes the PRP incompatible with other mods and is most likely the cause of the glitches.
Try launching the game by using the ff7.exe found in the game folder.

If you choose to reinstall the game, use the Bootleg Mod Configurator to install all of the mods.  Bootleg installs the fixes required to make all of the mods work together.

Where do I download this mod? The megaupload link is gone and the google docs link just redirects to a login screen.
