Just thought I would make this thread since a lot of people come here asking how to get these mods working so here goes.

For the phoenix  rejuvenation patch:
                                                 1. Run the installer and install to ff7 directory
                                                 2. Go to the f77 directory, the best way to do this is to right click on your ff7 shortcut, press properties and then press find target.
3.Once in your ff7 directory, double click the data folder and double click on the folder called Prp, you will see two .lgp files, 00.lgp and 01.lgp, rename 00.lgp to char.lgp and 01 to world_us.lgp.
                                                  4. copy the char .lgp and go back to the data folder and double click the folder called field and replace the char.lgp there with the one you just copied.Copy the world_us.lgp but this time go to the folder in data called WM and replace the files there.

                                                  5. delete the Prp folder from the data directory and enjoy!

                                                                  OR

Once you have installed the patch, copy the 00.lgp and 01.lgp and place it in your final fantasy directory(leave the original files as they are) then rename the .exe file from the Prp folder to ff7.exe and copy it into the ff7 directory replacing the original .exe file.( this way works but is not recommended if use lots of other mods.

For those who prefer to use the Npc reconstruction/ reunion patch.(out dated)

                                                                              1. Download lgp tools( google it) once you have it, open it up and click on open.
                                                                              2. locate the file called char.lgp in your ff7/data/field directory and open it.
                                                                               3. Click extract all and extract it to a folder in the same directory as the char.lgp called char.
4.Think about the meaning of life while it extracts.

5.Once that's done double click the npc reconstruction project installer.

                                                                               6. Click next until you reach the point where it asks you to locate your field directory, go to C:/Square soft/Final Fantasy VII/data/field/char. and let it do it's magic.
                                                                                7. Finally, open up Lgp tools again and click on create, locate and select the char folder. after which you may go to a location convenient to you and save the file with the name char. Let it load and then replace the char.lgp with the one you just created and voila! enjoy.(if you encounter any unknown version errors just reinstall ff7)

If it's not a problem I may post the solution to some other common problems so that people won't have to read through twenty pages of a topic. :-D
