Releases / Re: [FF7 PC] Mod Des-Enlace (ENG -SPA)
« on: 2026-02-06 08:56:34 »thanks markul i watched the video, looks like a program i can learn to use.All the files you need to change are in the ff7 installation folder, just change them directly to make changes in the game with the modding tools.
but tell me this... how do i save my projects
and in what format are they saved?
what type of file are they when saved?
where to save these files?
what about files from other programs, what i do with these?
how is these files applied to the game?
how to make a mod using my creations?
once i know this i know the main thing to start experimenting using these programs.
also what happens to the real game without my creations, if i just want to play the game, maybe using other peoples mods, and not my own changes.?
can i just unload my changes from the game and play casually , and then reload my changes to test my creations?
thanks man for any help, i need this knowledge big time, cant find any guides looked everywhere
For Makou Reactor you modify the flevel.lgp file, for Wall Market the Kernel.bin file and for Cloud Prod the Scene.bin file, all this files are in the folder 'data' of the game. You need to create a folder with all the files that you change from your ff7 'data' folder, and with 7th Heaven you can create a .iro file ,that contains all your mod files(it has some tools for that). I recommend you to export some gameplay mod of 7th heaven and decompress it to see how you must create the structure folders of your mod, also you need to create the mod.xml file to config your .iro mod. I started modifying my own ff7 steam game directly(no 7th Heaven, is the best way to start to learn to mod the game), with that you can see what you change without preparing the .iro and all of that, when you finish your mod you can to start to see how to turn it into a .iro mod for 7th Heaven.
With 7th Heaven you can deactivate your mod and use others ,but if you change things that affect the gameplay, maybe you can make unplayable the game without your mod, unless you start a new game. If you only change files in your ff7 Steam and play it without 7th Heaven, you can copy the original 'data' folder and change it with your modded 'data' folder when you want to play the game without changes.
But first, learn to use the modding tools and how to mod the game, the last part could be learn to create the 7th Heaven .iro file, when you have all your modifications ready to share it as a mod.

Muchas gracias y que te diviertas con la partida.
I changed the ID in the mod and the catalog.(if you refresh the catalog section you should see both mods)
