@Alyza: I built a new PC recently but had to wipe the HDD to re-install Windows with it, but I took the opportunity to try a fresh 1998 FF7 install w/ 7H and sure enough it worked this time (had a hiccup with the movies and they're missing as a result, but the game is running anyway). That means I can test what I make with 7H and start actively developing with it in mind; if NT is still being a pain with Reunion's translation, etc. and needs fixes could you show me what your patching/testing method is so I can start testing out potential fixes for it on my end?

Sure thing guys. Just give me about 10 days to work on all my various projects, including these. The kids go on Spring Break next week, so I'll have the whole week off to get some much needed work done :)

Best news I've read all day. I'll be keeping this thread open in my browser, and plan to Facebook and stream as soon as this becomes a reality. Been tampering with my mod load order and will likely throw together a cluster of recommended mods. Only major hiccup I've come across is a problem with Seto's theme not looping in the Remastered OST audio mod.

7th Heaven / Re: [Poll] 7th Heaven Difficulty Mods
« on: 2015-03-22 02:19:14 »
Not sure how much say I have as a newcomer/lurker, but New Threat is probably the best gameplay mod I've ever played. It rivals FF6's Return of the Dark Sorceror in terms of customized content, and the difficulty aspect completely shys away from being too RNG dependent. That is a very rare commodity when it comes to well paced turn based RPGs.

Releases / Re: [FF7PC-98/Steam] New Threat Mod (v1.3)
« on: 2015-03-22 02:05:02 »
So, I originally came to this site for FF8 visual mods, but this totally blew my socks off. Currently playing 1.2 (Due to 7th Heaven needing to update the mod list) and loving it so far. From 1.3's description, it seems like I can comfortably coast along til disc 2-ish before absolutely needing to update.
Also, I got incredibly lucky with Ziegfried outside of Fort Condor, managing a Morph victory in the first encounter. Then, your wave-crashing demon in Junon quickly put me in my place. It is incredibly refreshing to play a challenging version of this game, especially with all the amazing tweaks and features 7th Heaven allows.
Just wanted to say, awesome stuff. I'm hoping for the day this mod borrows a little from Reunion's translation for the the most enhanced FF7 experience possible.

This worked great the first time I opened it, then I stupidly opened the FF7config to try and upscale the windowed resolution and fix the Movies directory (7th Heaven doesn't like the default install path, apparently). Now, when I try to launch the game via 7th Heaven, the game exe completely ignores 7th Heaven and launches normally. I obviously just need to delete some sort of configuration file to fix this and try to find the game's ini for the movie directory, but there are just so many files in place due to all of the mods. Please help.

Edit : Solved it myself by using FF7 converter + overwrite command. Now, if I could just get this to launch through Steam with the Overlay active.

Just created an account to let you know that the ad.fly links on all of your stuff are giving a "link deleted" message. Found this site through your YouTube channel, and am hoping to play FF8 as enhanced as possible. Your work is amazing.

Edit : Realized it was the fault of an anti-linkbucks plugin for Chrome. Disabled all kinds of stuff, as this is obviously something I want to support.
