I remember that this question may be answered before so I'd taken searching but I got no result. Therefore I wanna ask for your help. As you know, importing a KH model ripped by 3D Ripper DX shows an un-smooth model like this

How can I smooth it correctly (Im using 3ds max 8 )? VertexWeld and MeshSmooth dont give a good result for the head

ps: I know it doesnt matter at all if I want to port the model to FF7 but seeing how models should be could inspire me ^^

Make sure the vertex weld actually worked by selecting individual verticies using the Click-and-drag selection, like you would to select more than one, but at one point, if it says you have 2 verticies in that point, the weld didn't work high enough.
Since you're using 3DSMax, and I know how to work it, I'd say to select the whole model in Polygon selection mode, and auto smooth at 70 degrees. That smooths out any rough corners.
Nice job! I'd like to think I inspired you to do this on you're own, I'm probably not, it's all good. Nice start!

The models you cant see are ripped, and kimera can see them very well. But not in game. What can cause this glitch? Hope i can be helped for that

My bad. How could I forget auto smooth :-P. It's a bit better now ^^ Well, I gotta finish his hand though.
